December 2023 edit

Your tagging Hiroko Tsuji (musician) for deletion per WP:G11 was abusive. Don't do it again.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:29, 13 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi Bbb23,
I requested the speedy removal of the article Hiroko Tsuji because the sources used are paid, which can be easily verified. The article is clearly written for promotional purposes only, and most of the content presented is false. In addition, the article has already been removed from the Japanese Wikipedia for the same reasons. I understand that criterion WP:G11 is the most appropriate for this case, but it would also be possible to appeal to AfD. Eduardo (talk) 23:09, 13 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
en.wiki has its own policies and guidelines, which are not necessarily the same as ja.wiki. G11 is used when the language is promotional, not because the article may have been created to promote the subject. You're free to take the article to WP:AFD, but bear in mind the relevant guideline for deleting an article is WP:GNG.--Bbb23 (talk) 23:34, 13 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Of course, each project has its own internal rules. What I did was check the general notability guidelines before the quick removal criteria. Initially, I thought that WP:A11 would be the most appropriate, but I was unsure between WP:A11 and WP:G11. However, I will prepare the evidence and take it to AfD so that other editors can also give their opinions. Eduardo (talk) 00:02, 14 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
