Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:ZacShotGood.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:07, 9 January 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Soxπed Ninety Three | tcdb 05:07, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to List of Mensans, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. — 141.156.161.245 (talk) 08:33, 18 October 2009

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, even if you intend to fix them later. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 14:13, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Give it a rest!

Hello, Dreamdesignernow … please stop trying to add Sophia Ziburtovicz to List of Mensans … they do not have an article, and the WP:SPAMLINK to the subject's website that you tried to add as a "reference" makes no mention of the subject's membership … if you persist, you may get blocked from editing here … also see the three-revert rule and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest … don't add this again. Happy Editing! — 141.156.161.245 (talk · contribs) 17:01, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

You were warned …

Hello, Dreamdesignernow. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#User:Dreamdesignernow and List of Mensans regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. — 141.156.161.245 (talk) 21:38, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Final warning

edit

List of Mensans is a list of Mensans who are notable people and the subjects of Wikipedia articles; it is not a list of every Mensan, since that would not be an appropriate subject for an encyclopedia. It appears that you are trying to use Wikipedia to promote yourself, which is against our rules. If you are interested in volunteering to help write an encyclopedia, we would be happy for your help, but if you continue to use Wikipedia for self-promotion, you will be blocked from editing. Thank you. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 21:40, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content from pages without explanation, as you did with this edit to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eric Zaccar. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Alansohn (talk) 18:52, 19 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

We're not stupid, you know, and merely logging out and editing as 24.185.149.181 (talk · contribs) isn't going to fool us for a second, particularly when you did the same vandalism and nonsense edits as the IP as you've been doing as Dreamdesignernow. Let's be clear - the only way your edits will stand is if you make a good case for them; just trying to edit war with us, or vandalise pages as you've already been warned for, will only result in your changes being reverted and your accounts being blocked. Wikipedia is born of consensus, and to form consensus you have to discuss. Given that you've ignored many many opportunities to behave properly, above, consider this your final warning - if you vandalise again, you'll be blocked from editing. -- Finlay McWalterTalk 19:32, 19 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Actually, I don't think any more warnings are needed; she understand the rules, so I'm going to go ahead and block. I'll block the ip as well. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 21:15, 19 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
