Your recent email edit

Thank you for your recent email. However, I prefer my discussions on Wikipedia to be transparent. I would be happy to discuss the issues you raised here on your talk page, but will leave it to you to initiate that discussion here. Regards, Voceditenore (talk) 09:38, 19 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Many thanks for your kind availability,Voceditenore

The issue:

My personal page in English has been deleted back in 2017 and redirected to the page of one of the organizations I've founded EMMA for Peace

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Paolo_Petrocelli

The objective:

I would like the community to consider the possibility to re-create my personal page and fix the issues on the EMMA for Peace page too. I am not an expert editor and I don't want to annoying any of the senior editors here. Just trying to solve the issue in a professional way, finding someone that is available to "study" my case and help me to make the proper steps.

Over the years, I've learnt a lot about the policies of Wikipedia. I believe at this stage I can provide all the reliable secondary sources needed both for my page and additional ones for EMMA's page.

I appreciate your kind attention Voceditenore and I hope we can work together to solve the issue.

Hello, DiploCult, I've had a look at the links you provided as well as conducting my own searches. In my view there simply isn't enough significant independent coverage to justify a stand-alone article on Paolo Petrocelli at this time. At most, a bit more information on him, provided it is reliably and independently sourced, could be added to EMMA for Peace. Unfortunately, my time on Wikipedia is quite limited at the moment and I could not undertake this myself. I'll contact an editor who made some very constructive edits to the article in 2020 to get his opinion on this. In the meantime, given your conflict of interest (COI), I suggest you make incremental suggestions for corrections, improvement, etc. on Talk:EMMA for Peace, preferably using Template:Request edit. Another possibility for a separate Paolo Petrocelli article is for you to create and work on Draft:Paolo Petrocelli and submit it for assessment by independent editors when you believe that you have provided the type of references required (in-depth coverage of him in independent reliable sources—no press releases, no blogs, no personal websites) and have written it in entirely neutral language. If you take that route, you will need to declare your COI on the draft talk page.
I'm also going to be frank about your editing practices up to now. You must pick one account and use that only. You appear to be editing under both this account and Musicdiplomacy (talk · contribs). You also need to refrain from editing while logged out. If these edits are yours, please be aware that editing while logged out can be considered a form of sockpuppetry, and that under no circumstances should you introduce copyright text into an article. I would also strongly recommend that you cease hiring paid editors to work on articles about Petrocelli himself as well as the two institutions associated with him. I note that a paid editor has created Draft:Stauffer Center for Strings and only admitted this after challenges to their editing. These sorts of practices create mistrust in both you as an editor and in the content of articles with which you are associated. I hope this helps, Voceditenore (talk) 15:03, 19 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Voceditenore, DiploCult is Paolo Petrocelli, They admitted so at the very beginning of their email to me. So WP:AUTOBIOGRAPHY and WP:COI should apply....William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 15:56, 19 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Yes, William, I am fully aware of DiploCult's identity, hence my advice to him re his COI. DiploCult, I know you have already been pointed to the guidelines at WP:AUTOBIOGRAPHY (a particular kind of COI), but I strongly suggest that you read through them again carefully before embarking on a draft article. Dear Voceditenore, many thanks for sharing very clear inputs. This is extremely helpful. I will follow your kind advices for both pages.

I have started creating a draft for Paolo Petrocelli for assessment by independent editors. I'm collecting all the most important reliable sources and using a neutral language. I will update you all here when I'm ready to publish the page. For EMMA for Peace page, I'm wondering if it would be better to wait for the editor you were talking about, before adding any changes.

Hello Voceditenore, I have drafted out an article for Paolo Petrocelli. I've done my best to collect all the most relevant and reliable sources (more than 40), referring to top international newspapers like Financial Times, The Time, National Geographic, institutional websites of United Nations, UNESCO, major universities like Harvard, Yale. I believe the article is written with a very neutral language. Before submitting it to independent editors, I would really appreciate if you could have a look at it and get your comments on it. So that I could eventually adjust it even more and better before sharing it with the community. Where can I show you the article? Thanks a lot for the continued collaboration.

Where is this draft article?...William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 14:09, 25 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
