gas pressure blasting

HI, think you might have interacted with the above page I am trying to create. I am a registered user and made the mistake of going through unauthorised user creation wizard. I then moved the site to a proper page, it has now gone back to pending, can you help me fix this please? Thanks, Steve. Stevenxlead (talk) 18:42, 28 February 2012 (UTC)

I'm sorry Steve, it was in the wrong location with the wrong template.  I had two choices submit or put back.  I guessed wrong, sorry.  It should be here: Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Gas pressure blasting  !!!!

No prob, thanks for trying to help and for format tweaks :-)Can I just move it to create a new page now? Steve. Hi Stevenx,
No, you only need to click where it says to click here to submit.  The other page I accidentally created the other day.  It should be gone shortly.  I have submitted your article just to make sure there were not going to be any other issues.  You can continue to work on it while it is submitted. Thanks for your work.  :- ) DCS 15:35, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Phosphonium Coupling

As far as I know, Phosphonium Coupling is one of four major methods used for peptide synthesis.

Article requires introduction on topics like Condensation or coupling reagents and their use to construct peptides and proteins to make it suitable for non-technical readers.

Overview: The article is not suitable for non-technical readers (even though the the subject is notable). But the article can be combined with the article on Coupling reaction (but only after it is rewritten).

Re: Sender Films AfC

Hello!

You left me a note for my Sender Films submission that I kept having rejected. I completely overhauled it today based on your instructions and I hope it is finally satisfactory for Wikipedia. Could you please look it over again for me and give any more pointers? Unfortunately, one citation for the examiner[dot]com is considered spam because it is blacklisted, but I don't know how to request the page to be allowed. I honestly have great difficulty navigating wikipedia editing pages since I am not quite a tech guy. Any help is again appreciated. I deleted the link for now. It belongs under First Ascent Series where I would add a sentence about one film being nominated for an Emmy. I saved the page changes here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_creation/Sender_Films

Thanks again! You rock!

Brett the Intern or Forresbj,

You need to sign your posts with ~~~~.  I have trouble finding stuff here all the time.  I'm really busy in real life right now.  I will try to have a look at it tonight.  Sometimes the block reason is simple or silly or a misunderstanding.  I will try to find that out also, if I can find the correct department. :-p  :- ) DCS 00:46, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

Re: International Dialogue Education Associates, Inc. submission

Hello,

Thanks for your assistance. In the research I've been doing for the subject, I've unearthed three different news articles from the SF Chronicle, The New Orleans Times Picayune, and the Santa Barbara News-Press which I think can establish notability of the subject. Will these be appropriate and sufficient? They are all three large, credible news organizations.

Many thanks, Woolffan — Preceding unsigned comment added by Woolffan (talkcontribs) 21:03, 9 March 2012 (UTC)

I have a friend that works at Santa Barbara News-Press and KTMS.  Have you added them to the article?  That might be the best.  You have done so much work, I can't believe there is nothing out there; we should be able to meet notability somehow.  If you don't want to add them at this point, give me the links.  :- ) DCS 22:31, 9 March 2012 (UTC)

Follow up for IDEA, Inc.

Nice about Santa Barbara, I was fortunate to grow up in an adjacent county and miss it. I've come up with the name of the article from the Santa Barbara News-Press: "Local seminars for managers" by Chet Holcombe on Oct 14, 1980, about the "Precision" model of training with John Grinder. The San Francisco Chronicle article from Sept 22, 1981 is entitled "Not What you Say, But How You Say It" by Jerry Carroll, and touches on the training of American Express executives with communication skills. The New Orleans Times Picayune article is listed under the "References" link on the page submission, link follows: ^ http://nl.newsbank.com/nl-search/we/Archives?p_product=HA-TP&p_theme=histpaper&p_action=keyword%7Ctitle=Body Talk. Influencing others through non-verbal communication |publisher=New Orleans Times Picayune|date= |accessdate=2012-02-27 Sorry that its behind a paywall, I was told this would be okay. I really appreciate your assistance. :-) --Woolffan (talk) 23:20, 9 March 2012 (UTC)

The important thing is that the company name is specifically mentioned in the article.  If I remember correctly, that is the notability we are missing.  Lived in SB for 6 years.  It took me that long to save enough money to leave. :-p   :- ) DCS 23:24, 9 March 2012 (UTC)

Sorry if I am writing in the wrong space. Do you recommend that I modify the article submission, working in the Santa Barbara News-Press content into the submission to establish the notability? Thanks, again! --Woolffan (talk) 21:39, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

Woolffan,
The link you provide is broken, so I could not check it.  You need to get at least one(two is usually minimum) article from a paper or magazine that mentions the company name.  If the Santa Barbara article does, then get it in there, somehow.   :- ) DCS 22:26, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi, I have a scanned softcopy file of the news article from the Santa Barbara News-Press, and it mentions John Grinder and Dr. Laborde as associates teaching the Precision seminar together on some specific communication skills at the Santa Barbara Biltmore Hotel way back in 1980. You might remember the article's reference to the partnership of Grinder, Laborde, and Hill. I would post the softcopy file for you here if I knew how. Sorry, I did not know the New Orleans Times Picayune link was broken; also it is behind a paywall but I understood from the helpdesk that this is acceptable. The Times Picayune article from 1984 speaks to the release of Dr. Laborde's main book, to communication and testing of skills, and some clients. The SF Chronicle article from 1981 also refers to the trainings, neuro-linguistics, Dr. Laborde's personal connection to John Grinder, Richard Bandler, and training at American Express, etc. I also have all three articles in an Adobe .pdf file. These were written well before the change in business name to IDEA Inc. in the late '90s. Aside from the NOLA link which needs work, I don't have links to the others, and could email you all three Adobe files. It might be interesting, I don't know. Thanks, Woolffan--Woolffan (talk) 16:20, 13 March 2012 (UTC)

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Flubromazepam

Hi!

Sorry if this is the wrong place to write this, but I'm new to Wikipedia and am still getting my bearings.

My recent (first) contribution (Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Flubromazepam) was rejected and I'm somewhat unsure why. The article pertains to a new benzodiazepine (working name Flubromazepam), and the scientific information provided is sound, (if brief). Would it be possible to explain your causes for rejection? I'd love to improve if I can, but "unfactual" and "hoax" doesn't really give me much to work with.

Kind regards

747pending (talk) 15:00, 10 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi 747pending,
I may have made a mistake, but I checked all of your citations and my own medical references, Medscape, Medline, and the U.S. National Library of Medicine.  I did not get a hit on Flubromazepam at any site.  Since the name ends in pam, I have to assume it is a generic name and not a trade name, therefore information should be available.  If you can tell me where the name might be mentioned, I can possibly approve your article.   Thanks for your efforts.  :- ) DCS 16:40, 10 March 2012 (UTC)

International Dialogue Education Associations, Inc. review

Hi again,

I've edited the submission and included newspaper citations, and also a link to the New Orleans Times-Picayune which works if you input the reporter's name and the article date in the format 00/00/0000. Could you be so kind as to guide me about whether the article is more in line for submission? I appreciate it. Wikipedia:Articles for creation/International Dialogue Education Associates, Inc.

Thanks again, Woolffan --Woolffan (talk) 00:30, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

Woolffan,
Your citation #4 in the article is a dead end.  I could not find anything in the newspapers listed on my own.  I have done other looking around, and much of this article is already in the Genie Z. Laborde article.  The list of publications can be in one article or the other.  I was just looking for some citations that says the company exists.  At this time that gives you about one paragraph at the most.  I have no idea if the citations prove notability at this point.  We have not even discussed citations to support the balance of the arti

cle.  I can not find the company name anywhere except directories.  This is usually a pretty good indication that your horse is dead.  I started to try to tone it down some more, but there was not much left.  Keep trying if you want, I will help as I can.  :- ) DCS 02:17, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

P.S. You said you had pdf files or something.  E-mail them to me if possible.  Let me look.  :- ) DCS 02:31, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

Hello, I'm checking back about the article submission potentially moving forward, and the three newspaper articles sent to you. What are you thoughts about the notability? Is there anything else I can do in support? Many thanks --Woolffan (talk) 23:05, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

Woolffan,
Have not received your articles as of this time.  :- ) DCS 01:45, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

I looked all over here on Wikipedia and could not find a way to attach the files for you. I sent it to gmail, as somehow a gmail contact address came up, I think as a result of user preference/setup etc. Thanks, Woolffan --Woolffan (talk) 02:28, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

How silly of me.  I have emailed you my email address.   :- ) DCS 13:48, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi there, Just checked my email, sorry about the confusion. I think you now have the newspaper articles? If so I'll wait for your thoughts, please let me know if I can be of assistance. Thanks --Woolffan (talk) 15:47, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Woolffan, I have not seen a thing.  I know my email works all day long.  Problems?  If you're watching my page, I will not bother with TB.    :- ) DCS 04:53, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

I will send the articles again, wonder what happened. Also I will watch the TB periodically, thanks. --Woolffan (talk) 15:02, 17 March 2012 (UTC) Hi, just sent the three articles to your gmail account, hope it can get through to you. I will check back here. Thanks --Woolffan (talk) 15:08, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

I have received your articles, and as I feared, IDEA is officially dead.  Bury the horse.  Unless I missed it, I did not see IDEA mentioned in any article.  Apparently the only notability to IDEA is Dr. Laborde.  I would suggest that you add {{db-author}} to the top of the IDEA article, say your good-bye's to it, and add this information to the article on Genie Z. Laborde.  Sorry, but that is the bottom line.   :- ) DCS 15:45, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi, Thanks for all your assistance. To clarify, since more recent third party references specifically citing IDEA, Inc. could not be found or referenced, and since the newspaper articles did not refer to IDEA, Inc. (which is the corporation name years later) although they mention the partners Dr. Grinder and Dr. Laborde (who had a business partnership formally, I've located their trademark), due to this the article can't move forward due to a lack of notability? A couple of these articles refer to work that Dr. Grinder and Dr. Laborde conduct together. Please let me know your thoughts, we are inching toward the resolution! Thanks, --Woolffan (talk) 20:28, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

Barring a miracle of some kind, IDEA will never meet notability.  Sorry.    :- ) DCS 21:15, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

You don't know how much I appreciated your help, thank you! Best, Woolffan --Woolffan (talk) 21:35, 17 March 2012 (UTC)   You're welcome!
