Hello edit

Welcome to Wikipedia; I saw some of your edits. I was told in the past that only notable children (those with their own articles) are supposed to appear in the infoboxes. Also, it is best to use the persons name as it appears in their article title in links. Thank you. BollyJeff || talk 00:44, 24 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

It is described here: Template:Infobox person. It says parents if notable, and children if notable, otherwise the number of them. BollyJeff || talk 00:51, 24 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
Language scripts should not be added according to [this RfC]. BollyJeff || talk 20:48, 6 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. When you recently edited Telugu language, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Yanam (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Have an eye on this user:Secret of success he is into spoiling telugu cinema article with POV he advices this to me: instead of simply inserting names and pics, useful content in prose is needed and he includes the same mistakes in Tamil cinema article. check this below content in tamil cinema article, and think about his above advice to me:

Other prominent Tamil film score and soundtrack composers of the present include Yuvan Shankar Raja who is the first Indian to win the Cypres International award for music, and Harris Jayaraj, Vijay Antony, Deva, Karthik Raja, Vidyasagar, Bharathwaj, G. Telugu Films of 2012 edit

Hello, I am sorry that i forgot to add a summary up there in the edit. Autonagar Surya as mentioned in the citation you have provided is not yet confirmed. A good citation would be an article by a trusted source or a press note from the producers stating the release date. The movie as of now is still in filming stage and it is highly unlikely that the film would release on the date specified. As you have already undone my edit, i would wait till 4 May 2012 to make further edits regarding this issue. About "Uu Kodathara? Ulikki Padathara?", please provide a citation for the release date that you have mentioned and remove the film from the unscheduled releases list. I want to let you know that my edits were only in good intention of the article but not to disrespect you or your edits, for that reason i apologize once again for not providing an edit summary. Please do let me know if you have further questions. Krzna (talk) 01:55, 24 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Re. Tamil Films of 2012 edit

Hey sorry, I just wanted to revert the edit but didn't want to mark the edit as vandal, that was a slip-up. There is absolutely no need to include dubbed films in that list. It's a page that lists all Tamil films produced in Tamil cinema and dubbed films are not Tamil films produced in Tamil cinema, those films belong to the respective industries where they have been produced. In regard to bilingual productions, yeah whatever, you may add them, (although I'm really not sure whether they are shooting all portions twice) but they should at least have a Tamil title. "Uu Kodathara? Ulikki Padathara?" is anything but Tamil!! Johannes003 (talk) 09:59, 2 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

1) Uu Kodathara? Ulikki Padathara? is a Telugu title. That can never be a Tamil title!! They may find a suitable Tamil title later, as of now there is no Tamil title for this film. No Tamil title, no Tamil film. Simple. 2) Bilingual productions are accepted, because nobody knows which industry the films really belong, but dubbed film must not be included here. And it really does not matter, if such lists are added in other pages. Dubbed films are no Tamil productions from the Tamil cinema. Period! 3) And in future, please sign your posts by typing four tildes. Thank you. Johannes003 (talk) 15:57, 3 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
Ok, listen dude, I have explained you more than once why it is utter nonsense to include dubbed films into any lists. Tamil films of 2012 should include films that are produced in Tamil cinema and released in 2012, Telugu films of 2012 should include films that are produced in Telugu cinema and released in 2012 and Malayalam films of 2012 should include films that are produced in Malayalam cinema and released in 2012. As simple as that! Why mixing it up all? I really have no idea, what on earth is the need to add a Telugu film to a page that lists Malayalam or Tamil films. It just does not belong there! And it really does not matter how it is handled on other pages, it does not mean that it is right or that it needs to added on all pages. I am not watching the other sites, so I'm not taking any action, but I very well could, because these dubbed film tables are totally unneeded. Please don't bother me again! May 2012 / Telugu Films of 2012 edit

Hello; I want to let you know once again that its important to provide good citations when editing an article. If you are providing Wikipedia page of the film as a citation, then make sure the release date provided in that page is properly cited. Also, the content at popcorn.oneindia can be edited by any user. Hence, the release dates provided there are mostly speculative or incorrect. I would suggest you to only use popcorn.oneindia as a last resort if no other sources/citations are available. I have undone few edits you made to the page. You can find the edit summary of them in the revision history. Please note that my intentions are in the best interest of the article and i believe your edits are the same as well. I thank you for your contributions to the page and have a nice time. Krzna (talk) 05:02, 3 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Akhil Akkineni edit

The article Akhil Akkineni has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable; per WP:ENT nowhere near enough for notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Maps edit

Hi. Thanks for your edit to East Godavari district. I think the map you chose is better than a small pinpoint on the other map, and the infobox is already long enough that it doesn't really need both. FYI, though, you just need to remove the map name, or comment it, to deactivate the map. You don't need to remove the coordinates. The only change needed is diff. If you don't like the coordinates in the infobox, you can remove the word inline (and the comma) from the coordinate display options. That way, the coordinates will still display at the top of the page, in title mode. Thanks again. —PC-XT+ 12:18, 25 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Hyderabad. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. October 2017 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please mind the policies such as WP:COMMONNAME and WP:NAMECHANGES/WP:ON before moving a page. --βα£α(ᶀᶅᶖᵵᵶ) 21:17, 8 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
