The article Invisible system has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 20:45, 7 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of Invisible system edit

I have nominated Invisible system, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Invisible system. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message.  Chzz  ►  22:26, 8 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Don't panic!

Further to your messages on my talk page; the above is a discussion about whether or not the article should be deleted; it will be discussed there for at least seven days.

If you can improve the article, that's fine - and I can certainly help with that.

Worst case, if it is deleted, again do not panic - we can simply make a copy of it in your own user area, for you to work on later. If you make other articles in the future, you might want to do that - make a user-space draft and ask for help with it, prior to making it live.

There is no deadline!

For more help, you can either;

  • Leave a message on my own talk page; OR
  • Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end; OR
  • Talk to us live, with this or this.

The last of those is particularly useful - please try it; pop in now and say hello. Chzz  ►  00:07, 9 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

How references work edit

Simple references edit

These require two parts;

a)
Chzz is 98 years old.<ref> "The book of Chzz", Aardvark Books, 2009. </ref>

He likes tea. <ref> [http://www.nicecupofteaandasitdown.com Tea website] </ref>
b) A section called "References" with the special code "{{reflist}}";
== References ==
{{reflist}}

(an existing article is likely to already have one of these sections)

To see the result of that, please look at user:chzz/demo/simpleref. Edit it, and check the code; perhaps make a test page of your own, such as user:Danieleonharper/reftest and try it out.

Named references edit

Chzz was born in 1837, <ref name="MyBook">
"The book of Chzz", Aardvark Books, 2009.
</ref> in Footown.<ref name="MyBook"/>

Note that the second usage has a / (and no closing ref tag). This needs a reference section as above; please see user:chzz/demo/namedref to see the result.

Citation templates edit

You can put anything you like between <ref> and </ref>, but using citation templates makes for a neat, consistent look;

Chzz has 37 Olympic medals. <ref> {{Citation
 | last = Smith
 | first = John
 | title = Olympic medal winners of the 20th century
 | publication-date = 2001
 | publisher = [[Cambridge University Press]]
 | page = 125
 | isbn = 0-521-37169-4
}}
</ref>

Please see user:chzz/demo/citeref to see the result.

For more help and tips on that subject, see user:chzz/help/refs.

  Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. Further comments edit

Re. your suggested sources; I've added that info to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Invisible system - please comment and discuss there; for help, try using a {{helpme}} here on your page, followed by a specific question e.g. how to add a reference - but really, as explained above, all you need to do is to put the reference between <ref> and </ref> - such as,

Chzz is 98 years old.<ref> "The book of Chzz", Aardvark Books, 2009. </ref>

...that's all there is to it; then it automatically appears in the 'references' section.  Chzz  ►  22:13, 10 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest edit

  Hello Danieleonharper. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about following the reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 20:02, 11 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Your reason here still learning what you can and can not write in wiki i am not trying to promote just backup what i have typed with weblink proof apologies for any incorrections

Decline reason:

This unblock request is incoherent. Yamla (talk) 11:12, 12 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

we are constantly asked for biog and background on this internationally acclaimed band and links to their chart positions, international reviews in music mags and newspapers, radio coverage etc which are listed here with links so we don't understand why one of our artists on World Music Network, Riverboat Records and Harper Diabate Records and the editor are blocked, speedy deleted etc as it is for fan and journalist request

Decline reason:

Wikipedia has no interest in helping you promote your clients for their fans or the media, nor is it interested in helping you promote yourself. This is an encyclopedia. Please read WP:PROMO, WP:COI, and WP:PAID, all of which you have violated. You aren't going to be unblocked so you can continue your promotional editing. If you want to be a general Wikipedia contributor and edit about subjects unrelated to yourself or your clients, you will need to comply with the policies I mention here and tell what it is you want to edit about instead of yourself/your clients, as that will not be permitted. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 12:57, 8 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
