I suppose one could argue the split might be appropriate. But it is a British programme and the proper terminology would be Law & Order: UK (series 1). Especially with this show. ITV commissioned them in 13 episode seasons which they then broadcast as 6 & 7 episode series. Citytv and BBC America showed them as their commissioned 13 episode seasons. If you want them as you have them they should be "series" (see Category:Britain's Got Talent or Category:Doctor Who series); if you want to call the articles "season" then you would need to combine what you have as 1 & 2, 3 & 4, and 5 & 6 into 1, 2, 3, and the forthcoming eight episodes as season 4. And maybe also not use such bright and unrelated colours too. POI split (aka unholy mess)

Dan, please, please do not attempt to split an episode article into season articles until you a) have consensus to do so and b) know what you're doing. You must have seen that your last attempt to split List of Person of Interest episodes into season articles left a series of problems behind. Worse, instead of getting help or trying to fix them, you simply gave up mid split and left the mess for another editor to clean up, just as you left the plagiarism mess discussed above for other editors to fix. That is simply not suitable editor behavior, and can lead to your being blocked; it's got me questioning your competence as an editor.

I've reverted the whole mess and restored the season article redirects. Before you attempt another split, you should:

• Gain consensus for a split (this has been discussed repeatedly, and thus far there is none)
• Learn the parameters for the splitting articles, beginning with WP:SIZERULE
• Work with an experienced editor to learn how to do a correct split.
• Populate the split article with original content, not more material plagiarized from the Pedia of Interest.

Concentrate on learning how to do basic edits and the policies behind them before you undertake anything this complex again, particularly given the blind eye you tend to turn to the messes you leave behind. Editing such as this is highly disruptive. --Drmargi (talk) 12:39, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

TemplateData is here

Hey DanDud88

I'm sending you this because you've made quite a few edits to the template namespace in the past couple of months. If I've got this wrong, or if I haven't but you're not interested in my request, don't worry; this is the only notice I'm sending out on the subject :).

So, as you know (or should know - we sent out a centralnotice and several watchlist notices) we're planning to deploy the VisualEditor on Monday, 1 July, as the default editor. For those of us who prefer markup editing, fear not; we'll still be able to use the markup editor, which isn't going anywhere.

What's important here, though, is that the VisualEditor features an interactive template inspector; you click an icon on a template and it shows you the parameters, the contents of those fields, and human-readable parameter names, along with descriptions of what each parameter does. Personally, I find this pretty awesome, and from Monday it's going to be heavily used, since, as said, the VisualEditor will become the default.

The thing that generates the human-readable names and descriptions is a small JSON data structure, loaded through an extension called TemplateData. I'm reaching out to you in the hopes that you'd be willing and able to put some time into adding TemplateData to high-profile templates. It's pretty easy to understand (heck, if I can write it, anyone can) and you can find a guide here, along with a list of prominent templates, although I suspect we can all hazard a guess as to high-profile templates that would benefit from this. Hopefully you're willing to give it a try; the more TemplateData sections get added, the better the interface can be. If you run into any problems, drop a note on the Feedback page.

Titles, edit summary and signature

Dan, here we go again. Please refrain from adding elements to the titles of characters in Law and Order UK that are not used. There is not such thing as a Junior DS or Senior DS; Brooks and his partner have equal ranks: Detective Sergeant, and should be labeled accordingly. Brooks is the senior officer relative to each of his three partners, which can be explained in narrative, but adding incorrect terms to their ranks is inappropriate. Likewise, the crown prosecutors. Finally, Sharpe does not use the title Director of the Crown Prosecution Service; that appears after his name, and should be listed accordingly. If you don't know how these titles and labels are used, refrain from making edits to them. I've cleaned up your errors and messes too many times, as have other editors. You are responsible for making an appropriate effort to make accurate edits.

Similarly, you need to start using edit summaries, which you rarely if ever do, and to sign your name properly, using four tildes (~~~~) or the signature button. This will add a date/time stamp to your signature, as is required. You've been asked to do this before, and continue to refuse to learn better editing habits. Lets see, you reverted me on the talk rather than openly discussing it on there as to why I'm wrong. I stand by what I said, as for the my own talk page alot of my pages I created were for characters to a British soap opera that I use to watch and It was decided long after I created those pages that that there should be several character list pages rather than individual ones and I agreed. But I don't agree with you, you want discussions before editing, well look on the talk page for the POI episode list a lot of people have said they want to split the season up, but you don't. You want me to put in an edit summery, but its not compulsory I never see a message denying my edits and telling me to put a summery in. If you notice that on top of the List of Person of Interest character page it says "Parts of this article (those related to article) are outdated. Please update this article to reflect recent events or newly available information. (August 2014)" so when I try to fix that by adding where characters started from and where there journey in the series ended up taking them and cutting out the middle bits including most of what I copied of the wiki of interest, which is what you yourself complained about. I hold my hands up and cop to that crime I did copy from that source but It was just until I had time to come back and edit it a sort of placeholder if you will. If you really want to know why your edits are reverted, take a look at the grammar, spelling, cohesion, and policy errors in your post above. That says it all. You violate copyright, and when challenged, your only response is to expect someone else to clean it up. You make up character titles and ranks (see Law and Order UK.) You remain completely clueless about simple policies such as the use of an edit summary. You won't discuss, either proactively or reactively, just verbally pout when someone reverts your edits. You want to arrange characters into incoherent, nonsensical groups rather than by storyline (Family and friends? Don't make me laugh!) and can't format headings correctly. I also noticed you've been reverted on the POI wikia site as well for similar reasons (I thought at least there I'd have some peace from your incompetence). Your edit regarding Fusco on Wikia was a series of factual, grammar and spelling errors, and one of the admins removed it, it was so bad.

Worse, you're like a lemming: you want to split seasons here for the sake of splitting the seasons, then add nothing to the individual articles but a picture of the DVD. Splitting for the sake of splitting is a damned lousy reason to do so, and you clearly have no interest in actually building quality seasonal articles -- like every other mess you make, you'll walk away and leave the real work for others. Under those circumstances, why shouldn't you be reverted and kept from forcing readers to link to another (likely not notable) page to find what's already available in the main episode list article? And that assumes you'd even do the split correctly. History suggests you won't. Gad, you can't even sign your posts correctly. Hi there again. I've noticed some more problematic edits that I, unfortunately, must bring to your attention:

1. This edit introduces a large amount of content, including prose, which appears to have been copy/pasted from List of Gerry Anderson's New Captain Scarlet episodes. While we are allowed to copy between Wikipedia articles, we still must provide proper attribution. See WP:CWW for information. There are two ways to do that. The simplest is to include a clear edit summary along the lines of copied content from [[article name]]. The other way to do this after the fact, is by using Template:Copied on the talk page. Note, that copying content the way you did here in February 2015, is never permissible.

You're creating unnecessary work for other editors, which is disruptive. Having thought about it plagiarising someone and breaking copyrights would be taking away hard work someone else has made is not fair to that person who wrote them. I really miss being able to edit Wikipedia and would be grateful for an administrator to unblock me i would work harder not to plagiarise or break copyright. Thank You. I have serious reservations about this editor's competence as well as his willingness to improve his editing and hope he will not be unblocked until he addresses all of the concerns I detailed above. Hello there time has passed and I feel I have grown as a person, Drmargi was correct in having me blocked for plagiarism and copyright offences as Plagiarism and copyright violations are serious offences that undermine the integrity of the Wikipedia platform and work of other contributors. I know it properly won't help my case but I have mild Autism (Asperger's syndrome) and while that is not an excuse for my actions but it might explain why I love editing Wikipedia (as well as IMDB) it is something I love doing, please unblock me. I simply articulated my concerns regarding his conduct and his inability to comply with guidelines beyond copyright/plagiarism.
