There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:
    Fight vandalism
Be a WikiFairy or a WikiGnome
    Help contribute to articles

    Perform maintenance tasks
Become a member of a project that interests you
    Help design new templates

Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the   button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.

The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

AFD comments

edit

Hi Coltsmetsfan614. I appreciate your commentary at the Villify AFD, and Device related articles.

Anyways, I just wanted to give you a pointer. Please don't make this edit. I struck out your second Keep comment for a reason. The closing admin typically look at the general bolded stances to get an overview of the situation, to make a decision on whether or not the article should be kept. An editor is only allowed to state their stance once, (in this case, the bolded Keep) once. You have already done this. If you want to make further comments, that is completely fine, but you cannot start it off with a bolded Keep, you can either start it off with a bolded Comment, or you can just start writing. But you can't say Keep a second time.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! Sergecross73 msg me 15:17, 22 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Oh, ok. I'm sorry. I'm new to the editing process, and I'm still trying to learn all the rules. I apologize. I've changed it to Comment. Thanks for explaining! Coltsmetsfan614 msg me 21:46, 23 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Target Audience Reviews is a blog

edit

Please don't add it to the professional reviews template. If you would like it recognized as a professional site, you'll have to post at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard and inform me of the discussion. I'll add my opinion there. Walter Görlitz (talk) 02:59, 17 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Joshua Connelly states on http://targetaudiencereviews.com/authors/ that "I decided to start this blog". Three non-professional reviewers writing blog reviews about music. Please stop adding the site as you did on the The Civil Wars (album). Walter Görlitz (talk) 16:24, 7 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
