Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:07, 20 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

February 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Tizer are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you.   Please do not use talk pages such as Aled Jones for general discussion of the topic. They are for discussion related to improving the article. They are not to be used as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. Thank you.   Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use talk pages for inappropriate discussion, as you did at Aled Jones, you may be blocked from editing.

The talk pages are not to be used as a place for you to share your thoughts and opinions about either the article subject, or any other related matters. The talk pages are for discussing how to improve the article. - Escape Orbit (Talk) 20:34, 27 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Reference desk edit

Given your interest in general queries, you might prefer Wikipedia:Reference desk, where there is much greater latitude given to discussing general knowledge questions you have. As others have pointed out to you above, the talk pages have a specific function and their use to discuss matters not pertaining to the improvement of their specific article is usually discouraged.   Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Nebraska. It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to a loss of editing privileges. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. OhNoitsJamie Talk 03:53, 26 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Question about Supersonic Speeds edit

In the talk page for Sound barrier, you had asked the question regarding supersonic speed, or any speed past the speed of sound. To answer that question, the speed of sound is referred to as Mach 1, or supersonic. Anything below supersonic is subsonic, and anything higher is Mach x. Therefore, Mach 2 would be the speed of sound doubled, Mach 3, thrice, and so on and so forth.

Hope this was helpful.
