Welcome Cindy. Thanks for doing this part of the Wikipedia assignment. Remember to do the assigned reading next and a little editing by using someone's talk page. Cecilemckee (talk) 14:45, 28 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia edit

Welcome to Wikipedia My name is Jim, and I edit here with the username of "Cullen328". I've been contributing to Wikipedia for 2-1/2 years now. I am an Online Ambassador, and I have offered to help students in the class you are in, Language Development. Please feel free to ask me any questions at all about editing Wikipedia.

There are many helpful resources available for new Wikipedia editors. One that I like is WP:PRIMER, which is a one-stop introduction intended to help newcomers to better understand the basics of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The best advice that I can give you to learn how to be a good Wikipedia editor is to actually edit articles, edit talk pages and edit your own user pages. Add high quality references to articles, improve the accuracy and improve the prose, and everyone here will sing your praises. Feel free to visit my user page and my talk page, and feel free to ask any question at any time. Thank you.

Hi Cindy! I am in Psychology 341 and I am just figuring out how to use the user talk. This project will be very interesting and fun! JessicaSG (talk) 22:56, 7 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello Cindy,

I offered some ideas on my talk page. Thanks for asking. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 19:58, 1 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hey Cindy,

My name is Adam Glick and I am also in your Language Development class. I read that you want to be a social worker and work with children. I am curious to know if you have a specific age group you would like to work with? I as well want to work with children but in a different way than you have in mind. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aglick (talkcontribs) 01:39, 3 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
