Duplication edit

Your List of Masonic bodies is very similar to List of Grand Lodges, though you do have additional content there. However, membership numbers aren't really useful; they change every day. Also, Masonic bodies include other groups besides Lodges, so your title is a bit inaccurate. Could you perhaps merge your content into List of Grand Lodges? I see your point, but I think that the scope of your idea is such that it will become far too big for its own good. Perhaps it would be better to break the article down by type, such as List of Prince Hall Grand Lodges, List of Co-Masonic Grand Lodges, etc. Otherwise I think it's going to be such a huge list that it will be unwieldy. What do you think? MSJapan 21:17, 2 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
OK, though I think it would be prudent to say that the membership numbers are an approximation. MSJapan 04:56, 4 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

List of Masonic Grand Lodges edit

Hi Christophe Dioux! I stumbled over this wonderful list: List of Masonic Grand Lodges - which you seem to have started. I have spent a day to get the information into our FactGid wikibase where you can now do visualisations such as this one. I felt you might like the idea to run a database with this (where you can do far more things than in a table - like adding places, bringing it onto maps... If so, I would love to give you direct database access to play with it. --Olaf Simons (talk) 10:01, 3 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi Olaf! Great job! Very impressive, really. Thanks for your proposal too. Unfortunately, I have been on a wikislow for some years, with very little time left for these topics for the moment. I wish you every success in this very usefull project. --Christophe Dioux (talk) 11:16, 3 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
same with me. FactGrid is outside and more of a scholarly project for people and projects to run their own data. You are welcome any time. --Olaf Simons (talk) 11:40, 3 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
