Adoption

Of course I would like to adopt you. Give me until tomorrow, though, I'm doing minor revamps to the course. Cheers! →Bmusician 10:49, 18 May 2012 (UTC)

Guestbook

Hey Calu2000, I saw you were wondering about my guestbook, if you want to set one up you can just create the same page but with your name. The URL would be http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Calu2000/guestbook A guest book is a special page for a bit of fun. if you were wondering about the barnstar you can create one easily by making a page for it like my barnstar and then just color and design it to you liking except instead of my username you put yours http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Calu2000/guestbook/barnstar

if you want to have the writing BIG or

centered

you can use the <big>(text goes here)</big> and the <center>(text goes here)</center> commands

if you want the drama llama just copy and paste this template into your page:{| style="margin: 0 auto; border:2px solid #ccf; width: 500px;" |- | rowspan=2 | || style="background:#CCCCFF" align="center" | The Drama Llama is Watching You |- | align="center" style="font-size: 90%;" | The owner of this page reserves the right to delete trolling, bad language and drama at their discretion. |}

Just one little problem, your barnstar will lead anyone who signs your book to my page. I have redone the template to lead it to yours:
  The Autograph Book Barnstar
This user signed Calum's guestbook and won a barnstar for it.
 • if you want to change the colors or the border just edit the bold parts below:

 • the 8px is the border and well the rest is pretty self explanatory, Purple is the border color and pink is the background, all you need to do is add the name of another color to change them e.g. blue or yellow. If you are a bit better at colors then I am you can use those website color code things like #FF4234 or whatever. LunashyFriendship letters.write a friendship letter 05:59, 22 May 2012 (UTC)

Welcome to Bmusician's adoption school!

Welcome!

You are now a student at my adoption school. Your official adoption page is located at User:Bmusician/Adoption/Calu2000.

In your first assignment (which I have already assigned to you) you will learn about the five pillars. Read the lesson carefully. After you're done reading the lesson, you will take a test about the lesson. You must answer all of the questions in the test adequately in order to move on to the next assignment.

After you've completed all required assignments, you will then take a final examination. If you pass the examination, you are permitted to either continue to study at the adoption school, or "graduate" from the school. (We'll talk about that when that time actually comes.) If you fail, however, you must stay at the adoption school until you finally pass an exam. Please note that you may leave the school at any time without graduating, but that means that you won't be awarded the "special barnstar" I give to my graduate students.

That's it; again I welcome you to my adoption school! Please leave me a message on my talk page if you have any questions regarding the school. →Bmusician 02:35, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

Congratulations!

On your adoption by User:Bmusician, he is a great teacher and I'm sure you will graduate from his class with flying colors!

Welcome to the CVU Academy!

Hello Calu! I saw your message on my talk page about enrolling. I'm glad you want to get into the world of removing vandalism from Wikipedia. I see that you use Twinkle and STiki, which is a great start. I also see, according to your contributions, that you already involved in reverting vandalism.

Before I help you, I would like to know if you have any questions regarding vandalism, reverting, warning, or anything like that. You can either ask here or on my talk page. Thanks for enrolling in the Counter-Vandalism Unit Academy! -- Luke (Talk) 17:19, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

 • Yes i do have questions,
 1. How do you warn a user manually.
 2. Are there any certain special qualifications required to warn manually.
 3. What are the rules of using rollback if the edit is a little wrong but not too bad.
 4. what are the requirements to report to an admin.

Thanks --Calu2000 (talk) 17:28, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

I'll try to answer these questions as best as I can.

1. To warn a user manually, you can write a quick little message on their talk page telling them that their edits are considered vandalism. You can also use templates at WP:WARN2. Please remember, however, you need to substitute the templates if you do want to add the warning template manually. The template is automatically substituted if you use Twinkle.
2. If a user vandalizes a page, you can either warn them automatically or manually, it doesn't usually makes a difference.
3. Rollback is used for blatant vandalism edits (as stated here). If you have any doubt that the edit was in good faith, then you should manually remove the entry and notify the user who made the edit. You should always assume good faith, unless there is clear evidence the user is trying to help the project and not hurt it.
4. If you want to report an administrator, you can go to Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents. You must have evidence about the case in question and notify any affected users with the ANI-notice template on their talk page. -- Luke (Talk) 17:48, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

 • Thankyou

can you please enroll me now thanks--Calu2000 (talk) 18:06, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

Note: you can also report users to admins with twinkle. Just go on their talk page and click tw and press AIV. User Talk:W.D. 16:57, 20 May 2012 (UTC)

IP block exempt

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.

Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.

Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).

I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. Daniel Case (talk) 17:14, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

Your AWB request

Hey Calu, and I saw your request for AutoWikiBrowser over at Wikipedia talk:AutoWikiBrowser/CheckPage. Right now, you have 358 edits in the article namespace. Usually, you need at least 500 edits in the article namespace to attain AWB permissions. Just thought to tell you. -- Luke (Talk) 00:56, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Richard Kingsmill (mp)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Richard Kingsmill (mp) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. noq (talk) 13:04, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Template:Editnotice user talkpage, to Wikipedia, as doing so is not in accordance with our policies. I see you did not do well on the adoption quiz related to image copyright/licensing and fair use. You should really go back and learn that material well before you upload any more images to commons--several of your recent uploads demonstrate that you do not understand or respect our policies on this topic. Rollback topicon is the rollbacker icon in the status line.   This is your last warning. The next time you create an inappropriate page, as seen in User:Hazzerman, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You are obviously not progressing well in your editorship here. I strongly urge you to decide whether you are here to build an encyclopedia--and then do so--or to treat this as a social-media site--in which case you would be well-advised to go somewhere else and stop consuming our resources. Copyright adoption quiz

The last question is, what four important things should a fair use rationale have, according to the lesson? If the question still confuses you, don't hesitate to ask me.

Your answer to Q1 is simply a rephrasing of the question (which isn't really an answer), the answer to Q3 is correct but your reasoning is incorrect, and your answer to Q4 is incorrect. Please rethink and rewrite those answers. Cheers, →Bmusician 10:05, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

I almost never edit for anything besides typos and grammar, and even after reading that page again I don't remember what I did there. I don't know my way around in Wikipedia and I'm assuming you are the person who undid whatever I did. If not, please excuse this.
