Orphaned fair use image (Image:913 Composite Sketch 1280.jpg)

edit

This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:913 Composite Sketch 1280.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that your image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If your image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why your image was deleted. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. cholmes75 21:52, 16 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Akatsuki members

edit

I just wanted to tell you that you are coming across a bit threatening on the Akatsuki page, and it might come off negatively to others. I mean, I understand and agree with what you're saying, but it could be done with a gentler touch, and it might start the anons whining at you.

On a side note, how did you get diagnosed with Aspergers? Because looking at it, it appears very similar to what I have, so I'd like to look into having someone confirm/deny it, but I'm not sure who I would need to talk to. Gracias!KrytenKoro 17:51, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Naruto, GAC

edit

As I said before, it won't pass a review. The references are in a poor format, there's no development or conception section, no major themes section, and the reception section is pitiful. See Madlax and Excel Saga for FA articles of this type, and Bleach (manga) for a GA article of this type. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 23:01, 20 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

And like I said before, it is thorough, factual and to-the-point. I don't know what you mean by conception, as when I recommended a conception section, it was blatantly ignored, and as for major themes, those were once added, but were quickly labeled not NPOV, and deleted accordingly. The reception is pretty accurate, and not "pitiful", as there is just not much to say without being fluff. Like I said, It deserves a promotion. Busboy 23:10, 20 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Missing-zack.gif

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Missing-zack.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 19:30, 2 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Brohemian Rhapsody

A tag has been placed on Brohemian Rhapsody requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Hi Busboy, in case you didn't know, you can start articles in your own sandbox. That gives you a chance to work on the article and build the content up, so when you move it into mainspace it doesn't get a speedy deletion tag. The link to your sandbox is User:Busboy/Sandbox. Hope that helps! Somno (talk) 05:17, 14 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Naruto GAN

edit

See comments here. In short, nominating an article you've never worked on before to WP:GAN, WP:FAC, or any nomination process really without having ever worked on it is plain rude. It's disrespectful to the editors who commonly work on the article, and especially when they know the article is not up to par. I'd recommend you withdraw your nomination. You are more than welcome to aid in bringing the article up to par, but coming in and doing a drive-by nomination is definitely not the proper course to take. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 06:35, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Never mind. As you didn't transclude the nomination at WP:GAN, I simply removed the notice from Talk:Naruto Uzumaki. Again, drive-by nominations are simply rude. This may have not been your intention, and you are acting in good faith, but please note that drive-by nominations are not acceptable. At the very least, it is a courtesy to those that edit the page often to alert them before you nominate the article in order to acquire their input as to whether they think the article is ready for a run at GA status. Proposed deletion of Missing (video game)

edit

The article Missing (video game) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

long unreferenced educational video game with no claim to WP:Notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sadads (talk) 13:41, 9 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
