Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Hexham wolf, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Allendale (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Changes to SuggestBot's suggestions

We have changed the number of suggested articles and which categories they are selected from. The number of stubs has been greatly reduced, the number of articles needing sources doubled, and two new categories added (orphans and unencyclopaedic articles). We have also modified the layout of the suggestions and added sortable columns with various types of information about each article. The first two columns are:

Views/Day
Daily average number of views an article's had over the past 14 days.
Quality
Predicted article quality on a 1- to 3-star scale. Placing your cursor over the stars should give you a pop-up describing the article's quality (Low/Medium/High), current assessment class, and predicted assessment class.

The method we use to predict article quality also allows us to assess whether an article might need specific types of work in order to improve its quality. The work needed might not correspond to cleanup tags added to the article, since our method is not based on those. We have added five columns reflecting this work assessment, where a red X indicates improvement is needed. Placing your cursor over an X should give you a pop-up with a short description of the work needed. The five columns seek to answer the following five questions:

Content
Is more content needed?
Headings
Does this article have an appropriate section structure?
Images
Is the number of illustrative images about right?
Links
Does this article link to enough other Wikipedia articles?
Sources
For its length, is there an appropriate number of citations to sources in this article?

SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. We appreciate that you have signed up to receive suggestions regularly, your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping!

If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please let us know on SuggestBot's talk page. Regards from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker. -- SuggestBot (talk) 23:59, 25 September 2013 (UTC)

Editor of the Week

  Editor of the Week
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week, for single-handed maintenance of an entire set of articles, in addition to work with content promotion. Thank you for the great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project)

User:John Carter submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:

Brambleberry of RiverClan I regret that I actually haven't really followed the actions of this editor as much as I might like, but I have to say that the material on the Warriors books and other Erin Hunter works would be much, much worse without her. She is a very regular editor, like she says, pretty much here every day, and on her /Accomplishments subpage she shows 1-1/2 GAs and 3 DYKs, which is probably 1-1/2 more GAs than I myself can honestly claim. Her monitoring of the Warriors pages, often with little if any real assistance from anyone else, including me, unfortunately, and her efforts in general have gotten her some regard, but I do think that some sort of broader, more general recognition has been earned as well. John Carter (talk) 22:50, 8 September 2013 (UTC)

You can copy the following text to your user page to display a user box proclaiming your selection as Editor of the Week:

Thanks again for your efforts! As someone who has enjoyed collaborating with Brambleberry, it is my pleasure to hereby declare her the Wikipedia Editor of the Week! Go Phightins! 01:17, 7 October 2013 (UTC)

Stress

Hey Brambleberry,

I'm sorry to see your wikistress so high. I hope you're ok? Brambleclawx 16:09, 13 October 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for caring. There have been a number of factors in my life that make it stressful when combined. Fortunately, most of them are short-term and my stress should go back down in a couple of weeks. I'm still lurking. öBrambleberry of RiverClan 18:25, 13 October 2013 (UTC)
I feel a little guilty I haven't been helping out as much lately. You shouldn't have to watch over the entire Warriors project by yourself... I'll try to do a bit more. The past few weeks have been a blur of ramping up into university, but hopefully, I'll settle into a zone soon and be able to do my Wikipedia thing again with some sort of regularity. Brambleclawx 18:30, 13 October 2013 (UTC)
Brambleberry, I've been absent for weeks as my computer has been dead and in the hands of a repairman. I am always glad to hear from you, but I am sorry that you have had troubles! I hope that you will be getting well soon, and I do have questions to ask, but they can wait. I'll talk with you in a few days. Be well, honey!
