We have a problem... edit

It appears that the new roster template format has a downside... Now the templates are too big to include all of them on this page. I just learned that there is an upper limit to template transclusion, as detailed at Wikipedia:Template limits. This is why the Pirates roster looks wonky and why no rosters after that point display.

As far as I see it, there are two solutions...

  1. Rework the templates to reduce their size. I don't like this option because it'll be too labor-intensive and we'll lose some of the sweet changes that have been made in the last few weeks.
  2. Split this page into two: one for the AL and one for the NL. For simplicity's sake, American League rosters and National League rosters. This page will be kept as a disambiguation page.
