Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. 98.248.33.198 (talk) 03:36, 9 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Stop adding your "personal experience" to Anxiety. It violates WP guidelines on verifiablity and reliable sources. 98.248.33.198 (talk) 03:44, 9 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Reliable and verifiable sources edit

We cannot write on Wikipedia about our own personal experiences, as you have done at the article for Anxiety. While I am sure that many of the symptoms you have added are typical, sources from reliable and verifiable sources, such as books, magazines or newspapers must be provided to support these claims. Without these sources, the material will be removed again as original research. Please click on the blue links which provide important policy details that you should read before adding further personal experiences. Alansohn (talk) 03:48, 9 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

It's not about having your personal experiences written up in a newspaper, it's finding a newspaper article (or material in a book about anxiety, etc.) that describes the symptoms of anxiety similar to the ones you have experienced and then summarizing that article in your own words and linking to the source. You clearly mean to improve the article, but policy prohibits adding your own experiences. Alansohn (talk) 12:11, 9 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 04:15, 9 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
