You removed the speedy deletion tag from this category, even though you created it, but it still remains empty. This means it will keep appearing on the nightly Empty categories list until there is a page put in the category.

Category:Heritage buildings of Quebec

Hi, I see that you renamed Category:Heritage buildings of Quebec. The Cultural Heritage Act did use heritage immovable as a translation of "immeuble patrimonial"[1]. It refer more as a immovable property of the Civil Code of Quebec that a building. Fralambert (talk) 02:07, 7 September 2022 (UTC)

Clean up categories

Hello, Bearcat,

I noticed via Special:DeletedContributions/Bearcat that some clean up categories you recently created were deleted, probably because they were empty maintanance categories and they displayed a CSD G6 speedy deletion tag. Is there a reason these categories should exist, even if they are empty? If you believe so, you might tag them {{emptycat}}. If they were created just to meet a temporary need, then no worries! Category removed

Hey Bearcat,

I was wondering about an action you recently performed. I created quite a few categories in Category:National Football League standings templates by season, and most of them had a category attached to them that correlated with Category:Sports standings by season templates. You removed the second mentioned category from the categories I created with the explanation of no redlinked categories; only categories that actually exist are permitted. This was appropriate for most of the categories, specifically the ones prior to 1990. I received a deletion notification today for several pages in Category:Sports standings by season templates, due to the categories being empty. Was this a mistake to remove pages such as this one, in which there was an existing category? I ask because I'd like to re-add the category for the the pages for 1990 and later but I wanted to make sure there wasn't a reason for me not to. Big City Mosaic : name update

Hi Bearcat, I have read your comment regarding the English name "Big city Mosaic" (Vivre tous ensemble in French).

I could find 2 sources showing the English name for the show is in fact "Montreal Mosaic" and not "Big City Mosaic" :

I have just manually completed the AfD process of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Othiram Kadakam by adding the AfD template to the article. I would not have known had I not attempted to PROD it when reviewing. You might not be aware that there has been a bug in the AfD script for a long time that left AfD nominations incomplete by either not doing the step I mentioned or not creating the actual AfD page. If you have recently nominated other pages for AfD you may wish to check them. The bug was finally resolved yesterday but will not repair existing nominations. (talk page watcher) As you've been told, being a candidate in an election does not establish notability and cannot be the basis for an article. You should be able to find plenty of writing on Mr. Penalosa's activism and organizing prior to his candidacy, though, he's quite well known for his work in 8-80 Cities, with World Urban Parks, for his groundbreaking policies as commissioner in Bogotà, and for founding the Open Streets movement. If you can write more about the things he's known for besides running for mayor, your article has a better chance of being accepted, but if you just keep hammering the submit button without making any kind of improvements, it's more likely to be deleted.
