no but being an extremist makes u retard and most of them are extremists

No they're not. Most ppl aren't extremeists. That's why the extremists are called extremists. St. Jimmy 09:23, 8 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

that didnt make senses rare isnt the same as extremists

Yeah but there have to be moderates to make the extremists extremists. And anyway, it's not fair to say all Muslims are extremists bcos its blatantly not true. St. Jimmy 11:39, 9 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

In order yo have rich people there must also be poor people. St. Jimmy 19:49, 29 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Richness is relative. If we can all afford to pay more for products then prices go up until some people can't. They are the poor. The only way to avoid that is if everyone has exactly the same amount of money and that is called Communism. St. Jimmy 22:11, 2 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

not everyone has to be the same, there ar just no poor people, --TheNation 23:56, 11 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

the people with least are the poor St. Jimmy 09:44, 17 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

in communism everyone is poor, in my dreamworld, everyone is rich, there is no one who has least--TheNation 06:01, 29 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes but unfortunately your dreamworld is just that - a dream. St. Jimmy 21:06, 3 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

But what about the political aspects of communism, less freedom is given to the people, in the gov I'm describing, money is the same but monetary aspects are different then communism.--TheNation 03:35, 15 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well how do you keep money the same? Does the government take it all and then share it out equally every so often? In that case why would anyone bother to work hard? Then you'd have to make people work - ie restrict freedom. That's why communism became what it became.

If the govt. doesn't do what I said then after a few generations there will be a divide between rich and poor again. That's how free-market, capitalism works. Some people succeed - other's fail. St. Jimmy 21:29, 16 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Why would the people not want to work so hard, just because you want it to be true doesnt mean it is, everybody works hard at there jobs in this GOV.--TheNation 19:59, 24 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

People work hard for financial gain. If the government just evens it out every so often then there is no gain so SOME people won't work hard. That's what happened in Communist countries and that's why Stalin, for example, had to force people into Gulags. St. Jimmy 21:37, 30 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

what are we arguing about again?--TheNation 04:51, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I was explaining why Capitalism is an imperfect system. St. Jimmy 21:48, 17 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

No system is perfect, but in my opinion its the best system, communism fails becuse people are greedy, it's naturally intilled in the human psyche.--TheNation 06:18, 4 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

That's why all systems ultimately fail. St. Jimmy 16:30, 4 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Whats wrong wit my man G.W Bush

He's an idiot with too much power. St jimmy 09:42, 25 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
So every president has 2 much power? Swainstonation

we have a congress and a supreme court for a reason, so 1 person doesnt get 2 powerful

He's too stupid to be president. And he's crazy. he said God told him to invade iraq. St jimmy 11:01, 26 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
so what he has religion, thats a good thing, hes not crazy eithe, ur crazy cuz ur a commie
 "rather be dead than red"
My problems not with him being religious, it's with him hearing voices. And having the power to launch a war based on what those voices telling him. St jimmy 11:29, 27 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

he alone doesnt have the power to launch the war, u need congress and the UN to agree, so u think everyone involved in the government is "hearing voices" with him, ur paranoid

He has the power to send troops wherever he wants. he just needs congress to approve funding.
And he's ruining the environment. He pulled the US out of the kyoto agreement. He says (until recently) that global warming is just a theory.St jimmy 13:02, 28 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

ya but there is no real reason behind why its happening, it could just be an uatural process (global warming), dont u need money to send troops anywhere, they cant just walk and eat sand, you have ship them out and supply them with goods

Yes global warming occurs naturally, but slowly. We are acelerating the process by pumping CO2 into the air. The science is there to back it up.
And he can send troops wherever he wants without consulting congress. Once they're there congress has to provide funding or allow troops to die. St jimmy 11:31, 2 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

he only has 3 more years so stop woerrying sbout it and its not just him hoo causes C02 gas to go in there air its everybody

Yes but Kyoto was meant to cut down emissions from countries. But the biggest polluter in the world (the US) isn't part of it. That's his fault.
And 3 years is pleanty of time for him to fuck up the worldSt jimmy 10:51, 3 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

its commies like u hoo fuck up the world

It wasn't commies who dropped two atomic bombs on Japan. It wasn't commies who invaded Iraq for oil. And It isn't commies who are gonna start a war in the Middle East and bring about our destruction with global warming. St jimmy 11:31, 4 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

but it was a commie who killed kennedy and it was a commie hoo had nuclear weapons aiming toward america, if lauunched would wipe out the entire US

And the americans had nukes aimed right back at them. St jimmy 13:22, 5 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

that was after that had them aimed at us it was for protection not destruction

And the russians would say the exact same about the Americans. There's no point trying to say one side was right in the cold war. St. Jimmy 09:26, 8 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

they had weapons on us first

But they never used them. You guys dropped two. St. Jimmy 11:31, 9 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

to end the war they brought us into, ever heard of pearl harbor

nuclear power can be more dangrous than fosils fuels to ever heard of Chernobyl

Pearl Harbour was Japan. And nuclear power is safe. Chernobyl and 3 Mile Island were the only meltdowns in the history of nuclear power. And it doesn't cause global warming. St. Jimmy 11:47, 16 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

so wat it causes mutation and cancer, and wat does the japan thing mean, i no it was ja[an im just saying we used them to end the war thay brought us into--Andy 23:19, 17 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

People who live over granite actually recieve a higher dose of radiation than those living near a nuclear plant.

And about the japan thing. They didn't need to blow up two cities to end the war, they were winning anyway. They dropped those bombs to punish Japan so that no one would ever defy america again. And it's a war crime. St. Jimmy 11:43, 18 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

its not our fault to want to protect our country and make sure something that horrible never happens again, and if we start puuting nuclear power plants every where than that would be our last generation because it would make everyone sterile, fossil fuels dont do that do they, no

Neither do nuclear plants. St. Jimmy 10:47, 22 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
They may cause a slight drop in fertility but they don't make ppl sterile. St. Jimmy 11:28, 23 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

You'd swear that they just put a lump of uranium out in the open for people to come along and get exposed. They don't. It's all done in a way that minimises the public's exposure. Like i said before people who live over granite actually recieve a higher dose of radiation than those living near a nuclear plant. And the people who work there aren't forced to work their. They are paid. St. Jimmy 22:14, 2 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ever heard of three mile island of Chernobyl, and i dont think that thing about granite is true,=, i want proof--TheNation 23:58, 11 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Communism

edit

Just thought I'd explain about the communism thing. I posted a Communist infobox because I agree with the Communist ideal: "each man takes what he needs and contributes what he can" or something like that.

That does not mean that I agree with what happened in Russia which essentially became a dictatorship. St. Jimmy 14:56, 9 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Rock music invitation

edit

Hello WikiProject Alternative music member.
WikiProject Alternative music, in my eyes, has proved to be successful "improving the encyclopaedic coverage of articles relating to alternative rock", and improving their quality as well. One specific example I have witnessed is The Smashing Pumpkins article. The page has gone from a mediocre work, to GA status, to FA nomination. Only appropriate, as the Pumpkins are undeniably one of the most influential alternative rock bands on the 1990's and beyond.
This is the stuff I wish to achieve with the somewhat recently ressurected WikiProject Rock music. I hope to also attract attention to rock music articles of all sorts, and hopefully change some to GA or FA status. I invite you to come join us, and not only be a member of alternative Wikipedians, but the rockin' ones as well.
Rock on.

Energy portal & future selected articles

edit

Hi! Over the past couple of months I've been spending much more time than I should developing the Energy portal, and intend asking for a portal peer review within the next day or so.

The portal provides a showcase for energy-related articles on Wikipedia. One of the most prominent ways is via a the selected article that is currently changed every 6 weeks or so. It would be good to increase this turnover, and with three Wikiprojects dedicated to energy-related topics and a good number of articles already written, I'd like to suggest that members of each Wikiproject might like to use the 'selected article' to feature some of their best work.

With this in mind, I'd like to suggest that your Wikiproject bypasses the normal selected article nomination page and decides collectively which articles are worth featuring - or these may be self-evident from previous discussions - and add short 'introduction' to the selected article at the appropriate place on page Portal:Energy/Selected article/Drafts, which includes further information. Your personal involvement would be welcome!

Please make any comments on your Wikiproject talk page, my talk page, or on Portal talk:Energy/Selected article/Drafts, as appropriate. Gralo 15:41, 1 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Red Hot Chili Peppers WikiProject

edit

Dear St jimmy:

I invite you to join and aid the WikiProject Red Hot Chili Peppers, in our fight to provide complete and thorough knowledge of the Red Hot Chili Peppers; whether it be a few minor details or a complete revamp of an entire article. We aim to improve the quality and encyclopedic coverage on all articles within relation to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The article's current state is improving drastically, and, with more widespread attention, GA status, for both the main page and John Frusciante is not far away. Thanks for considering,

"I remember I was taking a piss at a party once in this multi-urinal stall bathroom, and this guy was pissing next to me and he looks over at me pissing and starts singing 'Under the Bridge' in some twisted key and I though 'Okay. We've definitely made it now; a drunken guy is singing out of key one of our songs next to me in the urinal." - Anthony Kiedis

Fair use rationale for Image:American Nervoso.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:American Nervoso.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:American Nervoso.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:American Nervoso.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:33, 12 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
