Speedy deletion nomination of May 2014 Iraq attacks edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on May 2014 Iraq attacks requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:42, 7 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

I have tagged this article for deletion because, based on the title, and the lack of sources, it is unclear what attacks or where or when the article is talking about. There is already an entire article on the Islamic State. Perhaps if you have sources that describe attacks by this group in Kurdistan, you should add the facts to the existing article. (Or perhaps the article is about a different topic -- again, I'm not sure due to the vagueness of the description and lack of sources.) WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:51, 7 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Image without license edit

Unspecified source/license for File:Abu bakr al baghdadi.jpeg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Abu bakr al baghdadi.jpeg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 13:00, 13 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

2014 American intervation in Syria edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of 2014 American intervation in Syria, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/us-weighs-response-to-apparent-execution-of-american-by-islamic-state/2014/08/20/e33558a8-287d-11e4-8593-da634b334390_story.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Hello, Atifabbasi8. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, British intervention in Doha,Ottoman Empire, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Aequitas333 (talk) 07:26, 2 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of ISIL Wilayahs, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. Your edits in ISIS edit

You are still reverting the same edits as before, aren't you? Please come to the Talk page and give your reasons for making these changes. The Talk page is a forum for discussing edits. Editors will listen to you and explain why your changes are going against consensus decision, i.e. a decision made by editors jointly on what an edit should look like. The only way to challenge consensus is to come to the Talk page and try to persuade editors that you are right. Editors do this all the time. To keep reverting as you have been doing will get you into trouble soon. That is called edit-warring and there are penalties for it. This article is also under a 1RR (one revert rule) restriction, which means you can make no more than one revert per 24 hours (several reverts made in a row without intervening edits counts as one revert.) There are penalties for breaking this restriction as well. Editors have had to abide by these strict rules for months on this article. Very few editors have been penalized for breaking these rules. You don't want to be the next, do you? I see you have written a lot of articles on the same subjects as appear in ISIS, so you are obviously knowledgeable. Editors will listen to whatever you have to say if you go to the Talk page and tell them. Please do this and stop reverting. Thanks. ~ P-123 (talk) 18:15, 15 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Wilayat Hama (ISIL) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Wilayat Hama (ISIL), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you.

You can respond at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Atifabbasi8 reported by User:Legacypac (Result: ) if you wish. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 01:34, 25 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
Since August you have created nine articles related to ISIL which have been deleted. Most recently, on December 14 you created Wilayat Kirkuk (ISIL) for a second time after it was speedied as WP:CSD#A10. A further list of 25 articles is given in the report at WP:AN3 mentioned above. This suggests you have little or no interest in whether others support creation of free-standing articles on these topics. You've made a series of five or more edits at Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant restoring its claim to be a caliphate, for example here on 24 December. You keep restoring this claim after it is removed by others. Please explain why you should not be blocked for disruptive editing. EdJohnston (talk) 02:02, 25 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
