BINI
editHello! Need advice on topic expansion. Do you think adding some sort of endorsement section will violate WP:FANCRUFT? I am aware of Shopee and Jollibee but I just want to make sure I am not ruining the integrity and NPOV of the page. Borgenland (talk) 14:18, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Borgenland, thanks for reaching out! Including an endorsement section would be good to expand the article further. Still, it may be wise to consult with other writers/editors who are familiar with working with articles in the music industry articles first.
- It would not be considered fancraft to add an endorsement section as long as it maintains neutrality and is not written from a fan's point of view. You can start a discussion on the article's talk page to discuss whether the subsection should be included in the other ventures section. AstrooKai (talk) 15:27, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
- That was exactly where I plan to put it. Will put a prose tomorrow for other editors to evaluate. Thanks again! Borgenland (talk) 15:36, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
- Sounds good! I'm looking forward to it. AstrooKai (talk) 16:10, 18 June 2024 (UTC)

BINI videography
editHello! I would like to give you a tip-off about Bini videography. I started contributing 2 days ago but for some reason I find the repetitive YouTube logo incongruous and more of an advertisement. Would like to hear your recommendations for that. That article also needs expansion with respect to the behind the scenes videos. Have started binging earlier. Borgenland (talk) 16:49, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hey, thanks for reaching out! The YouTube links in the article are excessive and redundant and can be removed without a problem. Previously, it was in the Bini discography before it got split into a new article. My initial thought was that the external links were okay in the article. But come to think of it just now, I realized that they appear more promotional rather than informational. I also saw similar videography articles from other groups, and they didn't contain such external links as this. AstrooKai (talk) 17:49, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
- On that note also, do you think the streaming of BINIverse night 3 counts as an entry? And should we also include the ads (Puregold, Super Crunch et al)? Borgenland (talk) 23:52, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, the online stream of the Day 3 can be included under the webcast. For the Television commercials, I'm not sure if they are notable enough to have a dedicated section in the article. Though, they can be introduced briefly in the lead section. AstrooKai (talk) 05:34, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- I'm also considering whether the featured and dance rehearsal videos are notable enough to be included in the article. What are your thoughts about this? AstrooKai (talk) 05:47, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- The main concern about that is that they’re self-published, and as much as I risked getting killed in the Independence Day concert in the real world, as a Wiki editor I honestly think we are not in the business of replicating their entire YouTube channel’s catalogue. The last thing we need is a compilation of shorts. If a feature/prod is to be made, then it should be published by notable, third party and independent outlets (In that case I’d be more open for Coke Studio for example). Borgenland (talk) 08:35, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- On a side note, I pity that they don’t have individual articles yet, though I can’t objectively judge if it is feasible at this stage. I’ve been scouring the Internet for other media appearances should the day come. Borgenland (talk) 08:44, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- If you do not mind, could you clarify what you mean by "individual articles"? AstrooKai (talk) 09:05, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- It's for the members. Currently gathering data should it be judged feasible. Right now, I think Jhoanna has the strongest argument given that she has made appearances in four mediums (TV, Music Video, Song, and Theater). Borgenland (talk) 09:45, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- If you do not mind, could you clarify what you mean by "individual articles"? AstrooKai (talk) 09:05, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- I'm planning to remove the dance practice videos section as they are not sufficiently covered by any independent media outlets to merit notability. What do you think? AstrooKai (talk) 09:04, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- Fair enough, it's more or less an extension of their discography themselves. Borgenland (talk) 09:45, 3 July 2024 (UTC)

- The ads I think we should save the at-length singles (Puregold, Maybelline, et al). Borgenland (talk) 10:06, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- Do you mean for the discography or videography? Apologies, but my mind right now is entangled with other things and I am not able to comprehend that much right now. AstrooKai (talk) 10:29, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- Videography, if they reach beyond the average length of an ad (sorry for Jollibee) and reach an average song length. Also, do we need to include the second MV of I Feel Good? Borgenland (talk) 13:58, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- I guess they can be placed under a promotional videos section, though I doubt if they are notable enough to have a dedicated section within the article. As for the "I Feel Good" song, they have a second MV? AstrooKai (talk) 15:56, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- I couldn’t send the link coz apparently there’s a blacklist for YT but it’s a 2023 Star Music video for the Breaktudo Award. The main difference is that it’s an outdoor shoot. Borgenland (talk) 17:06, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- Oh, that video. As far as I'm concerned, it's only a special performance video for the said award. I'm not sure if it can be included in the article. AstrooKai (talk) 18:28, 3 July 2024 (UTC)

Apologies for ringing up again. Based on the available catalogue on Star Music's YT, there appear to be two songs missing in that page. See talk page for further reference since I'm not sure under which category they belong. Borgenland (talk) 14:14, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, thanks for reaching out! I actually saw the topic in the talk page first before this. I replied there to ask if anyone is already doing it to prevent conflicts between edits. If no one's available at the moment, I would be happy to assist. AstrooKai (talk) 14:20, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
- Feel free to revise. I’ll be on reduced editing on 5 July for UK election night. Borgenland (talk) 16:07, 4 July 2024 (UTC)

Is it ok if you change the Cherry on Top (Bini song) to Cherry On Top (Bini song)? It was titled like that on the release and hopefully add an image since the single came out. Thanks. 81.44.13.219 (talk) 16:22, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, as per MOS:5LETTER, prepositions such as on should not be capitalized. This is also in accordance with the conventions used in the English language.
- Here in Wikipedia, we follow a set of guidelines called Manual of Style that tackles the style and formatting of contents here in Wikipedia. This is to maintain consistency of convention across articles. AstrooKai │ Talk 16:51, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
- I’m sure if it’s songs it’s exempted other song title wikis have capitalized letter like The Girl Is Mine by Michael Jackson. Maybe they might accept this one. There are sources that claim this. 81.44.13.219 (talk) 21:47, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
- If you believe it is appropriate for the article to be moved to Cherry On Top (Bini song), you may request for it. Though, I advise you to first read Wikipedia:Moving a page for details about the procedures in moving an article, as well as the criterias for moving an article. You can also start a topic first at Talk:Cherry on Top (Bini song) about moving the article to receive opinions and feedback from other interested editors.
- When you begin moving the article, make sure to cite sources and/or excerpts from the Manual of Style that strongly supports your reasons. AstrooKai │ Talk 04:45, 12 July 2024 (UTC)

- 81.44.13.219 Article titles on Wikipedia adheres to MOS:TITLECAPS. "Is" in "The Girl Is Mine" is an exemption because it is used as a verb. Unlike "on" in "Cherry on Top", it is a preposition ≤ 4 letters, which Wikipedia does not capitalized in a title; sources' use of the title are not followed here. Notable examples includes "You Belong with Me", "Running Out of Time", and "Water Under the Bridge". – Relayed (t • c) 10:34, 16 July 2024 (UTC)

Mickey Perz
editHello! Inviting you to check on my edit to Mickey Perz as nobody apparently remembered that he's with Bini prior to that. Borgenland (talk) 05:29, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for the invitation! I have checked your edit and it appears to be okay. Please note that I have copyedited the entire biography section as it is overwhelmingly splitted into sentences, and I have formatted certain portions per MoS. The information in the section remains uncited, so if you're interested, you can provide citations to these. AstrooKai │ Talk 06:49, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
