Recent move

Andrew, you recently moved List of fictional British regiments to List of fictional regiments of the British Army. I note that there is a section British Empire Regiments which, I believe, does not tie up with the new title. Hamish59 (talk) 19:19, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

To be honest, I don't think they strictly fitted under "British" either! I'll have a think about how best to work this. Andrew Gray (talk) 19:48, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
No problem. Hamish59 (talk) 20:14, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
I've now tidied it up, put a note at the top defining the scope to include British Indian Army units, and removed all the spurious redlinks - thoughts? Next up will be merging/redirecting some of the individual articles, which are definitely non-notable, but not this evening! Andrew Gray (talk) 21:28, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
That looks a lot neater. Hamish59 (talk) 21:41, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of fictional regiments of the British Army may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
 • :From Drums of the Fore and Aft by Rudyard Kipling).
 • :From the Ultimate Force TV series )2002-2006)

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 21:37, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 83rd (County of Dublin) Regiment of Foot, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Corunna (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Flow testing

Hey Andrew :). As mentioned on the Milhist coordinators talkpage, we've opened Flow up for community testing. I'd be really grateful if you could hammer on the system (if you haven't already!), let me know any bugs you find, and leave a note at the 'first release' page explaining what you, as a member of Wikiproject Military History, would need to see to be okay with it being deployed on that wikiproject's talkpage.

Thanks! Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 20:03, 3 December 2013 (UTC)

Geonotice poke

Hi Andrew! So to poke you again so soon, but I was hoping that our Geonotice could go out by this weekend. The event is still a week away, so no rush, but I just wanted to get it on your radar. -- Gaurav (talk) 20:25, 7 December 2013 (UTC)

Done! Andrew Gray (talk) 16:43, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
Thanks so much! :-D -- Gaurav (talk) 21:34, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
Oops, I just discovered a mistake in MediaWiki:Geonotice.js -- you've set the end date to "14 January 2013", so the notices won't display. It should be December 14, 2013 for us, but there are a couple of other events which need their year changed to 2014. Thanks for dealing with all this! -- Gaurav (talk) 21:54, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
