Speedy deletion nomination of Megan Bretweiser

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Megan Bretweiser requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. -=# Amos E Wolfe talk #=- 16:24, 3 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Phoenix Central School District

edit

The article Phoenix Central School District has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no citation and unconfirmable claims, e.g., Joseph Gordon-Levitt did not attend high school in upstate New York, high school links to a high school in California.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Universalist Union, Volume 8, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page First Universalist Church. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

"Smile"

edit

Hallo Allyg..., it looks as if in this edit you used the {{Smile}} template but didn't "Substitute" it. Substituting means that it takes the values (in this case "REVISIONUSER", the last person to update the page) as they are at that moment and fixes them. As it says in the template documentation it's really important to use {{subst:Smile}} because otherwise the name of the latest person to edit the talk page will appear as the person who has "Smiled", which is not always going to be appropriate. Please take more care in future - read the instructions on the template documentation page. Thanks. PamD 10:32, 24 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you've been in the habit of adding this template unsubstituted, please go back and amend it on those talk pages so that it doesn't produce rubbish messages. Thanks. PamD 10:33, 24 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Category:Levitt family

edit

Hi! I noticed your creation of Category:Levitt family. It was apparant you didn't know how to add articles to that category. To add articles to a category, you would put [[Category:Levitt family]] at the bottom of the article. I have added that markup to the two articles that we have on Levitts, but with only two articles, I'm not sure a cateogry is needed. Are you planning on writing articles on Abraham Levitt, Alfred Levitt, or any other Levitts? Are there other articles that should be added to the category that you can think of? Why did you feel a category for this family was needed? ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 19:42, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

User page

edit

Hi Violetnese. I think you should take a closer look at WP:UP because (as Chris troutman pointed out above in his post) you seem to be slightly misunderstanding the intended purpose of user pages. We do not own our userpages and they need to comply with relevant Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Users are given a little freedom to allow for a bit of personalization when it comes to user pages, but you seem to be using yours as some sort of personal website which is not allowed per WP:NOTWEBHOST. Such user pages may be tagged for speedy deletion per WP:U5 or nominated for deletion via WP:MFD at anytime by any editor; they may even be edited by other editors to remove anything felt to be non-compliant with relevant policy and guidelines. I think you'd be well served to re-consider the content you've added and remove anything not really relevant to your editing on Wikipedia before your page gets edited or nominated for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:20, 25 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Disruptive editing

Greetings. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Eighth grade, did not appear to be constructive and has been or will be reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Continued warring to use the term falsetto without a reliable source

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

For three days. Per this edit, which you made after being warned per WP:AN3 just above. The source that you cite doesn't use the term 'falsetto.' EdJohnston (talk) 20:40, 4 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
