I've detagged it from the above problem. Now you need to expand it again a bit to show how she is notable - how important are her books, etc. They look at first sight to be part of a series for college/university students - any independent reviews? Status and Advice

As reviewing administrator, I did not delete the article. The person almost certainly meets WP:PROF and probably WP:AUTHOR. But more material is needed--at the minimum, proper bibliographic listing of his published works with links to library catalogs, not Amazon, and links to published reviews. It is such sources as reviews that prove notability. Any librarian can help you find them.

Paying attention to this from the very first edit will help avoid speedy deletion tags from people here who do not understand the academic world, do not recognize in particular the importance of the humanities, & don't't realize how academics and writers become notable .
