Kudmi(Kurmi) are in obc list in jharkhand, west bengal, odisha and assam. They demand st but central govt reject their demand. So Kudmi(Kurmi) is a obc community. AkashRajputDelhi (talk) 10:23, 9 June 2023 (UTC)

Everyone knows those community which are st called tribal.If any Kudmi man also demand khotriyo then you agree with khotriyo?. In my village, Every Kurmi/Kudmi worship Durga Puja, Kali puja, shiva, krishna. I am from Jhargram District, WB. If some Kudmi people demand "Khotriyo" (according to your question) -status then what is/are the basis of her/his demand ?
