Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to List of programs distributed by ABS-CBN, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. -112.210.231.237 (talk) 09:46, 13 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Page moves

edit

Hello, AaronFresco,

You are still a relatively inexperienced editor on the project. Please be more careful with page moves. Articles can, unfortunately, be moved very easily but moves shouldn't be casually done. If you have to revert a page move, then you are making decisions too quickly. You should not need to move a page multiple times. Think carefully, does a page need to be moved? Why? There needs to be a good reason to move an article to a different page title. Are you sure about where you want to move it? Did you use the correct namespace? Has an article been at one title for a long time and requires a talk page discussion first? Would it be better to put in a request at WP:RM?

Sometimes a page move can be beneficial but they shouldn't be a spontaneous edit, please think about what you want to do before hitting "submit". Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 06:51, 3 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give The Voice Generations (Philippine TV series) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into The Voice Generations. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.   Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Department of Education (Philippines). This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Not only are you violating article naming conventions, but you are copying and pasting text, which breaks attribution and the page history. You have been told that these types of moves are unacceptable before; the fact that you continue to do them means your behaviour may be looked at as disruptive.C.Fred (talk) 03:07, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Jayson Gainza (actor)—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Page moves

edit

Hello, AaronFresco,

Please be more thoughtful when you are moving an article to a different page title. Most of your page moves have been reverted. Make sure that you are not moving a country-specific article subject to a generic page title that could apply to a number of different places.

If you have questions about moving pages or any general questions about editing on Wikipedia or its policies, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you! Liz Read! Talk! 19:50, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to assume ownership of articles, you may be blocked from editing. Behavior such as this is regarded as disruptive, and is a violation of Wikipedia policy.Your series of page moves related to Batang Quiapo has led to a page history split. Do not perform cut-and-paste moves, and do not perform moves without prior consensus. Chlod (say hi!) 08:34, 18 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

say Hi Chlod! I already know regarding FPJ's Batang Quiapo is now reaching its first anniversary as TV series on February 13, 2024 just like FPJ's Ang Probinsyano redirected as a tv series while the 1999 movie put Ang Probinsyano (film).
P.S. Please understand. AaronFresco (talk) 16:52, 18 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Chlod is right. You need to create a discussion on whether those articles have to be moved or not in the Batang Quiapo Talk Page. It's premature under WP:RM to move the page without any consensus. If the consensus is not moved, then don't move it. 172.58.142.144 (talk) 14:42, 18 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Edit summaries

edit

Hi. Could you please limit your edit summaries to describing what you've changed on the article. Including warnings to other editors not to "interfere" or change is neeedlessly confrontational, and not how Wikipedia works as a collaborative project. Thanks. It seems that you have continued with your rude and confrontational edit summaries despite this advice. And I am telling you that is still rude regardless if you put the word please. I am reiterating this warning to you and will report you to ANI if this callous behavior of yours keeps going. Borgenland (talk) 15:38, 4 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Alanconsebido. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 15:23, 11 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
