November 2019 edit

Hello, I'm InvalidOS. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Fractured (2019 film) have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Lucy Capri edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Lucy Capri requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Request reason:

There is no need to delete this page for this young actor. She has valid credits and should be connected properly on Wikipedia. This block and the deletion of her page were unnecessary.

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Acroterion (talk) 03:39, 9 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Lucy's name was also taken off of the films and series she was connected to. I do not understand why our creating a page for her and connecting her to films and series she was already listed on not by me (and has now been removed fully) was self promotion. This isn't a social media outlet. We are connecting the pieces together from her various projects. Most actors have a page; she was already listed. Please remove this block and please reinstate the page we created for her. It was not promotional at all - it was entirely factual with references and links to back it up. Thank you kindly for your assistance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ALilJoyKidsVO (talkcontribs)

IMDb isn't a reliable source, and cast lists do not establish notability. Substantial references are even more important because she is apparently a child. Your reference to "we" is concerning - group accounts are not permitted, and it appears that this account represents undisclosed paid or COI promotional editing, which are strongly discouraged. If Ms. Capri earns substantial coverage in major independent media, she will be entitled to an article and mention - not until then. Please read Wikipedia policy on conflicts of interest, the paid-contribution disclosure requirement, the notability guidelines for biographies and the reliable sourcing policy. I just saw your second email, which makes clear that you have a conflict of interest in this matter. As in most entertainment-related topics, I can assure you that when the subject becomes notable, an article will be created by somebody. To clear up another misunderstanding, nobody gave "permission" to create an article - the software environment would permit virtually any title to be created - "Akjhdfg Kkjhgfd" cound be created by any autoconfirmed account. The question is, whether the article would survive the notability test, not whether it's capable of being written. For clarity, I prefer to communicate here in the open, and will not be responding by email. Acroterion (talk) 03:08, 28 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
