Socking edit

The SPI wasn't declined. A checkuser was declined because it's not allowed to link accounts to a specific IP address. Instead it will be judged on behavioural grounds and the evidence is clear.

The more socks you create, the less chance you'll ever be allowed to return. As you've been told several times, make an unblock request from your original account, and it will be considered. Number 57 22:48, 15 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

As you've broken WP:3RR, you've been reported at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring. Number 57 22:56, 15 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

How many times do you have to be told to request an unblock through your original Branflakes account? I don't know why you even bother now, as it's so easy to spot you and you get blocked within a few days each time. The more you sock, the more likely it is that you'll never be allowed to edit again. @Number 57: Don’t be mean. I tried to go back on my Branflakes account, but I forgot my password and can’t get on. Could you please help me with the problem, instead of requesting to block me every single time. If you help me out, I will not make any more accounts. Can you please unblock so, you can help me.-98.115.9.16 (talk) 21:33, 16 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Why can you not request a password reset? All you need to enter is your username and email address. Number 57 21:53, 16 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Number 57: Ok it looks like I found it, I just sent the request. -98.115.9.16 (talk) 22:05, 16 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Number 57: Ok, I logged into the account, but I can edit anything. -98.115.9.16 (talk) 22:10, 16 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
I don't know why that is. However, as I said on your user talk page there, I think any unblock request will need to be discussed at WP:AN as you are banned rather than blocked. If you write an unblock request here, I will copy it there for you. You will need to explain why you socked, why you are stopping, and make commitments as to your future behaviour. Aside from the socking, you also repeatedly engaged in edit warring, so I would suggest you voluntarily commit to 0RR (i.e. you are not allowed to revert other editors and you have to take any disagreement to talk). This would give an indication that you are serious about reforming. However, there is no guarantee people will agree to rescind your ban given your persistent socking and edit warring, so you may need to accept that your behaviour to date means you have to give up on Wikipedia, possibly permanently. I'm particularly not convinced that an unblock request now will be successful given that you were still effectively socking today. It is likely that you may need to stop editing for many months, or possibly a year or two before making an unblock request that may be successful, as only a period without socking will really prove you are serious.
