April 2009 edit

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to List of The Suite Life on Deck episodes. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. AussieLegend (talk) 10:57, 13 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Natalie Okri (singer) = edit

I saw you spent a lot of time on this article and similar ones a few days back, but someone just blanked Natalie Okri (singer) out with no discussion and made it a redirect. If you disagree with that, perhaps you should reinstate the page and request that a deletion nomination be the proper way to handle this article. --Milowent (talk) 19:12, 29 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

October 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Aidan Davis (dancer) has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7fxIWIQ0ww, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HJAnrwCRyU&feature=related, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljzUqUIrvLI&feature=channel, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7Wv_hiJOT4&hd=1, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bfwOHKfHZA (matching the regex rule \byoutube\.com). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 18:37, 4 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

I removed the following link(s): http://good-evans.blogspot.com/ (matching the regex rule \bblog(?:cu|fa|harbor|mybrain|post|savy|spot|townhall)?\.com\b). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Aidan Davis (dancer) a different title by copying its content and pasting it into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other articles that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. Aidan Davis edit

I have replaced this article with a redirect to Aidan Davis (dancer) as that is the 'original' version, complete with its original history. Please note the earlier message I left you concerning cut and paste moves.

Aidan Davis (dancer) is itself currently a redirect as the consensus is that he is currently not sufficiently notable for his own article. If you disagree, please discuss that there rather than try to circumvent opinion and create a parallel article.

Joe McElderry edit

Susan Boyle gained notability due to internet fame and appearances on American television. She appears to be an exception. Please, if you want to ad information about Joe, can you add it to List of The X Factor finalists (UK series 6)#Joe McElderry? Thanks. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 17:48, 24 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Similarly for John and Edward. I42 (talk) 11:59, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
You said, at Joe McElderry: "Take this to AfD if you think Joe is not notable enough for his own article, how can something with this much detail be redirected without even an edit summary?". But my edit summary gave links to two Wikipedia policy pages which explain the rationale; your rationale is that the article is detailed. AfD is for deletion; I am redirecting. ANI notice edit

Hello, 82.36.17.10. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. GiantSnowman 18:16, 18 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

You seem to have voted twice in the AfD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Joe McElderry, besides forging the signature of Woohookitty. Please join the discussion at ANI to explain yourself. This is starting to look like disruption. EdJohnston (talk) 01:09, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
You have failed to respond to two requests to explain your edits to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Joe McElderry. Please do so. I42 (talk) 17:05, 20 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry if I have caused this. Considering I am only 12 years of age, and the articles I create may not be very specific, this is the reason why I voted twice. I created the article, Joe McElderry, I wanted to make sure it doesn't get deleted, like most of the other articles I have created. I have explained myself. Hassaan19 (talk) 18:20, 20 November 2009 (UTC) (I have signed using 82.36.17.10)Reply
This is the kind of behaviour which will likely get you blocked. Wikipedia operates by consensus, and attempting to circumvent it - no matter how strongly you feel, or what age you are - will not be tolerated. Given the Wikipedia policy and guidelines for inclusion I think it quite likely some of your articles will be deleted because there is insufficient notability. My advice is that you either accept that risk (although even continued creation of articles deemed non-notable could be considered disruptive), or concentrate your efforts on areas within Wikipedia (your clear enthusiasm, directed appropriately, will be welcomed), or if neither of those are acceptable to you, consider other sites where your contributions will be better received. I42 (talk) 08:27, 21 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Doing the same thing again at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lloyd Daniels (singer) was not a great idea. This is sock puppetry, and a likely outcome is that both this IP address and Hassaan19 will be blocked. I42 (talk) 11:43, 22 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Lloyd Daniels (singer) edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Lloyd Daniels (singer). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lloyd Daniels (singer). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 21 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

November 2009 edit

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to User:Hassaan19. daTheisen(talk) 10:34, 21 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

As you and Hassaan appear to be one and the same this message is in error, but understandable given that it is very unusual. I suggest you ensure you are logged in as Hassaan when you edit - particularly when you edit Hassaan's pages. I42 (talk) 11:57, 21 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Disruption of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lloyd Daniels (singer) edit

You have voted *twice* in this AfD, once as yourself and once as an IP. Please undo your IP vote, or you may be sanctioned! I'll wait for your response before deciding where to take this from here. EdJohnston (talk) 14:57, 22 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for undoing your double vote. I am considering a proposal that your IP should be blocked so that you will need to edit from now on with only your Hassaan19 account. (Or, you could agree to limit yourself voluntarily to editing with just the Hassaan19 account). I will await your answer. EdJohnston (talk) 18:02, 22 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
