January 2016 edit

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Crim3s, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 03:59, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Crim3s. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 04:07, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please understand. You are entering INCORRECT INFORMATION. The source article is INCORRECT. Ethan Kath had nothing to do with the band CRIM3S in any way. This is FALSE! Also, you keep adjusting the names to incorrect names! I will contact the band and get passport screenshots for proof. This is riddled with appauling journalism and false info.

Your edits to Crim3s will not be reverted once you can cite a reliable source about your information. Until then they will be considered false. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 04:54, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

this article that is being quoted is full of false information! once the article is edited i will edit this page and you can check the source article before you ban me or revert it. ALSO, the wikipedia about CRIM3S say they are a couple! where did this come from? again, false information with no source either, so please allow this next edit!

"Couple" is not sourced, so its removal would not be an issue.
Adding references is how we ensure that content is correct. Without references, there is no presumption of accuracy, this is called wp:verifiability. Please wp:cite wp:reliable sources (RS) to support your edits. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 07:57, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

THIS SENTANCE THAT YOU KEEP INSISTING ON PUTTING HERE IS UTTERLY INCORRECT AND HAS NOW BEEN REMOVED FROM THE SOURCE ARTICLE SO YOU ARE INSITING ON PUTTING FALSE INFORMATION HERE THAT DOESNT EVEN HAVE A SOURCE. "The duo was originally named Story of Isaac, but changed their name to CRIM3S at the suggestion of Crystal Castles member Ethan Kath.[1]"

DOES NOT EXIST ON THE SOURCE ARTICLE ANY MORE!

THIS IS EXTREMELY DAMAGING AND FALSE INFORMATION, WHY ARE YOU INSISTING IT STAY THERE?!

ALSO, YOU ARE REVERTING THE NAME CHANGE EVEN THOUGH THE NAMES THAT YOU ARE INSISTING STAY HERE ARE NOW UPDATED TO THE CORRECT ONES ON THE SOURCE ARTICLE TOO. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM!?! T

AGAIN - YOU HAVE AGAIN PUT BACK 'COUPLE' WHICH AGAIN IS UNSOURCES AND WAS REMOVED.

YOU ARE ADDING FALSE INFORMATION TO THIS ARTICLE!!!

The internet changes edit

Websites change over time and there is nothing you can do to control it. If a website contained information at one time (check the internet archive), it can be used as a source as long as the retrieval date is mentioned, which it is. January 2016 edit

This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Crim3s, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. STOP NOW. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 19:14, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive behaviour. Your behaviour is verging on harassment. Wikipedia prides itself on providing a safe environment for its collaborators, and harassing other users, as you did on User talk:8-f4t-r4t-8, potentially compromises that safe environment. If you continue behaving like this, you may be blocked from editing. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 19:16, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Yelling at other users on your talk page is not appropriate and will not help you get your point across. Please remain polite. If you continue to revert my edits I will report you to the administrator noticeboard for edit warring. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 19:18, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

you are adding unsourced information that is FALSE! you are the one harassing here! dont you understand that you are damaging a bands reputation with the false information you are adding! it is not sourced, it was false in the first place and has been removed from the article itself. this is madness, you are being extremely unpleasant. i will edit this until the day i die, you are adding false information that is utterly damaging to the band. it is simply NOT TRUE!!!!

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you purposefully and blatantly harass a fellow Wikipedian. Stop yelling harshly worded comments at me. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 19:29, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

so then please listen to me.

i am not yelling, i am upset because you are damaging the bands reputation by adding false information.

please understand the information you are adding is utterly false. the article you are sourcing has been updated because their journalism was at fault and they have corrected their facts.

please remove the statement about crystal castles and ethan kath

and the 'couple' part

and please update the name to sadie pinn not sadie phelps

this is all false info and must be corrected immediately.

Are you even looking at my edits? I actually removed 'Sadie Phelps'. AGAIN. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 19:48, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

you keep putting back the statement about ethan kath making the bands name, this is utterly false! please understand this!!! :( :( please :( and you keep putting back the bit about them being a couple! also utterly false!

Any information found in that article at any time can be used as a valid source. I have removed 'Sadie Phelps' and the word couple. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 19:52, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

but the article was full of made up rubbish that simply is not true! ethan kath / crystal castles simply do not have anything to do with crim3s, and the article has been updated because that information is false and extremely damaging! please update it, i am begging you, update the retrieval date and remove that statement, it no longer exists in the source as it is incorrect and false and damaging.

Tell me where it say that the article was updated for the purpose of removing incorrect information. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 19:56, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

do you mean the article itself must state that it was updated for removal of incorrect information??

this is the link: http://www.ssgmusic.com/best-of-2011-sean-palmers-top-25-underrated-acts-of-2011/2/

this is what is written there:

Also hailing from London, witch house duo Crim3s are well described as the love child of Salem and Crystal Castles. Originally known as Story of Isaac, the project has since been renamed “Crim3s.” The name change reflects both their admiration for Crystal Castles, as well as the addition of singer Sadie Pinn (also a professional model)—whose vocals could easily be mistaken for Alice Glass. Aside from their own work, Crim3s have remixed songs by the likes of Clams Casino, White Ring, Teengirl Fantasy, and, of course, Crystal Castles. They’ve also created numerous music videos for themselves and others. Their first EP, SEAT†3A, was released on Black Bvs Records along with a remix EP, SEAT†3B, featuring reworks by GuMMyBeAR, Party Trash, GR†LL GR†LL, and others.

the statement about ethan kath has been removed as it is false! the article is still full of nonsense but that statement is extremely damaging to the band and utterly incorrect. please, you need to understand the importance of this

Yes, the article must state that it was updated to remove incorrect information. Otherwise, that cannot be assumed. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 20:00, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

this might take some time to get in touch with the website, could you please from the sympathy of your heart remove the statement about ethan kath at least until tomorrow till i can get it sorted. this wikipedia page is the main article on the internet about crim3s and this statement is extremely destructive. hopefully the statement about the article being updated to remove incorrect information will be added to the article by tomorro and then i hope to god this can then be removed from wiki for good :( extremely distressing situation

also, you changed from sadie phelps to sadie pinn since it was updated in the article. so why can the other false information about ethan kath nameing the band be removed too? i will hopefully get the statement you asked for added to the article, but still, if you could update the name, why not that statement too?

Sockpuppet investigation edit

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/8-f4t-r4t-8, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 20:31, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

that is the band member account, they are distressed by the false information appearing on their wikipedia page and wish it removed. this information is utterly false and extremely destructive to the band. it has since been removed from the offending website that is being used as a source but your user here keeps insisting on keeping this unnecessary and proven false information.

Seriously? They will be able to figure out if this is your account, and I am almost certain that it is. If it is, please admit because it will make everyone's life so much easier. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 20:50, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

January 2016 edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 20:50, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please just stop. I have had enough of this. You already have an open sockpuppet investigation and a notice at the edit warring noticeboard, and the administrators will deal with you shortly. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 20:55, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

i have had enough of it too, you are being deliberately and knowingly destructive to an artists career, you know the information is false and has been removed from the source article yet you insist on keeping it here, even though you did remove the 'sadie phelps' which was also removed from said source article. it is a false statement, you are insisting on adding false information to wikipedia.

Please follow my directions on signing your comments with 4 tildes ( ~~~~ ). Also, you do not seem to understand that online articles are updated for many other reasons than to remove false information, and websites will specifically state if they have removed false information. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 21:04, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

but you updated the name since that article has been updated so what difference is that to removing the statement about another band creating the name for this band?! can you not see how that statement is extremely destructive. it is utterly untrue. it is also of no significance to the wiki page. a request has been made to the website to add to their article that it has been updated to remove incorrect information, but really this should not even be necessary. this whole thing is absurd and cruel.

I removed the name Sadie Phelps because it was in parentheses and not used anywhere else in the page, which did not make sense. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 21:14, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Can you please say whether or not you created the account User:Pott.noooodle? BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 21:14, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

no i did not, i met with the band themselves today and they created that account to remove the appauling false information that you keep putting there. crediting an artists creation to another person is horrifically cruel and utterly false. this needs to be corrected ASAP. please.

OK then. We will know if you are lying once a CheckUser report is run on you. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 21:20, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please sign your talk page comments with 4 tildes ( ~~~~ ). BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 21:20, 5 January 2016 (UTC) you are missing the point of this situation. you are causing the defamation of an artist. this is childish and rubbish.Reply

You are currently blocked. However, you still need to sign your talk page comments with 4 tildes ( ~~~~ ). BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 21:25, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 23:27, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

please can you edit the page CRIM3S and remove this sentance:

The duo was originally named Story of Isaac, but changed their name to CRIM3S at the suggestion of Crystal Castles member Ethan Kath.[1]

the source article was incorrect to begin with and has since been ammended with the addition of this statement:

(Editor’s note: The original publication of this information contained several factual errors. As of 1/6/15 this information has been removed in accordance with factual accuracy).

check this link to see: http://www.ssgmusic.com/best-of-2011-sean-palmers-top-25-underrated-acts-of-2011/2/

this is all i needed done on this page, the mistake and the admins here insisting on keeping this false information is causing the defamation of an artists career and crediting their art to another utterly unconnected person.

please.

No and don't ask again.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:48, 6 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

excuse me?! the information there is incorrect!!!! the source article states this and removed that sentance! why are you doing this?!!

I've revoked your access to this page. You may use WP:UTRS to appeal.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:52, 6 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
