October 2023 edit

Hello, I'm Andrzejbanas. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Andrzejbanas (talk) 16:44, 25 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

November 2023 edit

Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. I would suggest reading through MOS:FILM, Template:infobox film and WP:RS and WP:OR to get accustomed yourself with sourcing material properly. Andrzejbanas (talk) 21:42, 3 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

December 2023 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Kenne Duncan, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Sorry but you reverted my edits before I even had a chance to add my reference sources. You deleted my material within seconds of my posting it, while I was still in the process of typing the reference sources onto the article.

We never know what you'll do next, so please add references with your addition, not after it. Materialscientist (talk) 23:09, 2 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Possible sockpuppetry edit

Hello 68.129.16.246. There is a complaint about your edits on my talk page at User talk:EdJohnston#Possible Sockpuppeting. You appear to be a sock of Herb Lightman. In particular, Herb was known for adding unsourced information to film articles and for deleting warnings about that. You are editing from a /16 IP range that has been reported before for adding unsourced information to film articles. There may still be time for you to respond to the complaint on my talk page before I take action on it. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 20:57, 21 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

I have not deleted any warnings from my talk page that I am aware of. I always try to add references for everything I edit on wikipedia but I'm not an expert yet on which sources are more reliable than others, but I try to do my best. If I'm told not to use a certain reference source, I don't use it any more, I'm not interested in edit warring with other editors. I only have this one account, so I have no idea why the complainant called me a sock puppet. I've been collecting and researching old horror films and serials for many years, and I am just interested in making the wikipedia articles more accurate. I also like to correct grammatical or spelling errors where I find them. 68.129.16.246 (talk) 21:39, 22 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Ed, your informant definitely has me confused with someone else. I only have this one account, I am not Herblightman or whoever he has accused me of being. I add trivia to the filmographies in a similar way because I was trying to make my additions blend in with "the look" of the comments that were already there. What is wrong with adding trivia to a filmography page? Isn't that why there is a column on the page marked "NOTES"?? I live in a heavily populated area, there are probably a million people who are serviced by Verizon in New York and have a similar IP address to mine. I was listing references also, I wasn't just writing unsourced comments. Please look into this further? If you think I violated the rules, then block me. But I am not the person that Andrzejbanas is confusing me with! 68.129.16.246 (talk) 21:20, 23 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
By the way, you titled this section of my talk page "Possible sockpuppetry". Since when do you block an editor when you aren't even sure if the person is a sockpuppet or not? You don't care about the possibility that I'm innocent? That isn't right. How would you like to be bullied like that if you were innocent? Very unfair. 68.129.16.246 (talk) 19:19, 24 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Why was my account blocked? What did I do wrong? I don't know why I'm being reported. I did nothing wrong. 68.129.16.246 (talk) 22:27, 22 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
