As someone who was involved in the performing arts industry for over 30 years and in academia with the performing arts field for 15 years, my interests include new opera, living composers, conductors, and performers, and performing arts organizations. I enjoy researching and writing about these subjects.
Disclosures edit
I am a major contributor to the article on composer and musicologist Byron Adams. While he does NOT have a close association to me, he is known to me from his choral and vocal music and I have corresponded with Mr. Adams about his work in the past. I would liken my association to him as being similar to that of a journalist speaking with a public figure.
