Married since 1976 to Joanne E. Tötösy de Zepetnek (Ph.D. Pharmacology), born Toms 1955 Montréal, Canada. Children: Chantal P. Tötösy de Zepetnek (born 1982 Ottawa, Canada) and Julia O. Tötösy de Zepetnek (born 1984 Ottawa, Canada).
