Note: All edit count milestones are as of the time the edits were made - or when I realized and checked a week or two after. I have made over 530 deleted edits (as of January 2008) so there is a bit of uncertainty here.

2005

• July 8 2005: My first edit as a registered user, on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Matthew 1:verses, which eventually gets me accused of being a sockpuppet. Thanks to the kindness of Jwrosenzweig and the highly addictive nature of Wikipedia, I perservere.

• March 25 2006 - my 500th edit (I made Weiser State Forest, Pennsylvania into a redirect from a duplicate stub, now that's quality editing!)
• April 12 2006 - Larrys Creek makes Good Article
• April 22 2006 - my 1000th edit (added the school district and a map of Berks county to Leesport, Pennsylvania)
• June 21 2006 - my 1500th edit (school district work on Bermudian Springs School District)
• July 26 2006 - my 2000th edit (→Geology - better links to Allegheny, Appalachian, added USGS groundwater recharge on Larrys Creek)
• August 5 2006 - Did you know ...that the Fair Play Men, a group of squatters in colonial Pennsylvania, made their own Declaration of Independence from Britain on July 4, 1776 on the banks of Pine Creek? (DYK #1)

• September 7 2006 - Did you know ...that Chiques Creek in Pennsylvania, named for the Lenape word Chiquesalunga (meaning place of crayfish), has 13 variant names according to the USGS? (DYK #2)

• January 10, 2007 - Paulins Kill, an article I peer reviewed and made some contributions to, makes Featured article (congrats to ExplorerCDT)
• January 11 2007 - my 5000th edit (reformatting my user page) and to to think I used to add content...
• January 22 2007 - Did you know ...that Maurice K. Goddard helped create 45 Pennsylvania state parks? (Thanks to Gerry D, who started the article, and listed me as coauthor (for my additions) on the nomination for DYK) (DYK #6)
• February 13 2007 - my 5500th edit (leaving {{test1}} on an IP user's page after reverting this vandalism to Pennsylvania)
• March 1 2007 - I reach 1000 articles on my watch list (and promptly delete a bunch)
• March 4 2007 - my 6000th edit (on Talk:List of Pennsylvania state parks, getting things ready for WP:FLC) at least I am talking about content...
• March 9 2007 - Ohio Wesleyan University, an article I peer reviewed and made some contributions to, makes Featured article (congrats to LaSaltarella)
• March 12 2007 - Did you know ...that Madame Montour, of Native American and French Canadian heritage, was paid the same as a man when she worked as an interpreter for the colonial governments of New York and Pennsylvania in the first half of the 18th century? (Thanks again to Gerry D, who started the article, and listed me as coauthor (for my additions) on the nomination for DYK) (DYK #7)
• March 16 2007 - Did you know ...that the forty-six Recreational Demonstration Areas, built as model parks near urban areas in the United States during the Great Depression, later became national and state parks, and in one case, Camp David? (grew out of a stub I made for a red link in List of Pennsylvania state parks) (DYK #8)
• March 25 2007 - List of Pennsylvania state parks is promoted to Featured List (I am a main author, along with Gerry D and VerruckteDan)
• March 25 2007 - my 6500th edit, adding to Trough Creek State Park (which I have never been to)

• April 9 2007 - my second image on the Main Page, when Image:Eagle Grange.JPG is featured in Did you know ...that Eagle Grange No. 1 (pictured) in Clinton Township, Lycoming County was the first grange to be established in Pennsylvania? • April 23 2007 - Did you know ...that in the Big Runaway during the American Revolution in Pennsylvania in 1778, Rachel Silverthorn (pictured) rode to warn settlers on Muncy Creek of impending attack when no man would? (Thanks to Gerry D for coauthoring. This is the third image I have had on the Main Page, although I just uploaded and cropped it, the article links to the full mural.)

• June 4 2007 - Did you know ...that the Susquehanna Boom led to Williamsport, Pennsylvania having more millionaires per capita than any other city at the time? (another collaboration - thanks Dinch!) (DYK #12)

• August 9 2007 - Did you know ...that although Plunketts Creek in Pennsylvania was named for a suspected Loyalist during the American Revolution, by 1838 he was so controversial that Plunketts Creek Township was named for the creek instead? (Thanks to Gerry D for asking me to write the article and advice on the DYK hook) (DYK #13)

• October 4 2007 - Did you know ...that the Old Loggers Path, a loop hiking trail in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, uses old logging railroad grades and roads, and its trailhead is a lumber ghost town? (a joint effort with Gerry D - thanks!) (DYK #14)
• October 14 2007 - Plunketts Creek (Loyalsock Creek) makes Featured Article (thanks again to Gerry D and Ben MacDui for all their help)

• October 19 2007 - Larrys Creek is Today's Featured Article and a photo I took of it and the Cogan House Covered Bridge is the fifth I uploaded used on the Main Page. I started Larrys Creek on February 27 2006. It had received 231 edits as of October 18 2007, none of which were vandalism. In the twenty fours hours it was "Today's Featured Article", it received 133 edits. I classified 15 as good faith edits, 55 were clearly vandalism, 1 took me two weeks to be sure it was vandalism, and 59 edits were reversions of vandalism or good faith edits. Of the good faith edits, only 6 were helpful and added content or made changes which remain in the article. In the 24 hours after TFA, there were 5 good faith edits, 1 vandalism, and 2 reversions. All of these good faith edits are still in the article, if tweaked a bit (the Hoover visits, my post TFA cleanups).

• October 20 2007 - Did you know ...that the Cogan House Covered Bridge (pictured) in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, USA was built by a millwright who preassembled the frame in a field beside the sawmill to make sure it all fit? Thanks to Elkman who requested this article back when Larrys Creek was in FAC - I took the picture and it is the sixth image I uploaded that has been on the Main Page. (DYK #15)
• October 24 2007 - my 11,500th edit started Template:Lycoming County Pennsylvania Map‎ (for use in List of municipalities in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania)

• November 7 2007 - Did you know ...that the Joseph Priestley House (pictured) in Northumberland, Pennsylvania was the site of the first and only laboratory Priestley designed, built and outfitted himself, as well as several American Chemical Society celebrations? - thanks to Awadewit who greatly expanded it, I provided the picture (my seventh on the Main Page), made some edits, and wrote the DYK hook (DYK #16)
• November 12 2007 - my 12,000th edit (reverting vandalism on Youghiogheny River Trail‎)
• November 14 2007 - List of municipalities in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania makes Featured List - thanks to Gerry D for starting it, doing most of the work, and asking me to write Plunketts Creek to fill in a red link

• December 1 2007 - Did you know ...that the new Market Street Bridge (pictured) over the West Branch Susquehanna River between Williamsport and South Williamsport in Pennsylvania is the seventh on that site, and that three of the previous bridges were destroyed by floods? Thanks to Gilliganzeemo for starting the article, Gerry D for expanding it and including me in the DYK nom - I took the picture and it is the eighth I uploaded to appear on the Main Page. (DYK #17)
• December 5 2007 - my 12,500th edit, reverting a link not meeting WP:EL on Altoona, Pennsylvania‎ (spam, spam spam, spam!)
• December 14 2007 - sixty-two otherwise sane users agreed to make me an administrator on Wikipedia.
• December 17 2007 - Did you know ...that Snyder Middleswarth Natural Area lost its status as a Pennsylvania state park in the 1990s despite being a National Natural Landmark and Snyder County's only state park? (if only I could find out exactly when this happened...) (DYK #18)

• January 28 2008 - Did you know ...that when the first portion of the Lackawanna and Bloomsburg Railroad opened in 1856, it led to the incorporation of Kingston, Pennsylvania, and to the establishment of Kingston's first public transit line? - I started this get rid of a red link in Joseph Priestley House (DYK #19)
• January 29 2008 - my 14,000th edit, reverting vandalism to Dare County, North Carolina‎ (Truth or dare?)

• January 31 2008 - Did you know ...that Carl Frederik von Breda (pictured), a Swedish portraitist who trained with Joshua Reynolds, was unable to complete his two largest commissions due to a coup and lack of studio space? - the ninth image I uploaded that has been on the Main Page, and the other article I started to get rid of a red link in Joseph Priestley House (DYK #20)

• November 6 2009 - Did You Know ... that caterpillars of the Oak leafroller (pictured) and Oak leaftier moths are major defoliators of oak trees, with leafroller timber losses in Pennsylvania of over $100,000,000 in the early 1970s? (Double DYK and the seventeenth time an image I have uploaded has been on the Main Page. Wrote the articles for red links in Upper Pine Bottom State Park) (DYK #38), (DYK #39)

• November 10 2009 - I discover I now have over over 1000 deleted edits
• November 16 2009 - my 34,000th edit, tallying the votes on the photo poll for Sheldon Reynolds waterfall at User talk:Ruhrfisch/Waterfalls (really building the encylopedia with that one!)

• December 2 2009 - my 34,500th edit, adding the infobox image to Canfield Island Site
• December 8 2009 - an image of the Canfield Island Site I took and uploaded is used in Did You Know (with my hook). Congratulations to Nyttend for a great article (this is the eighteenth image I uploaded that has been on the Main Page)
• December 14 2009 - Did You Know ... that Bald Eagle Creek Path along Bald Eagle Creek in central Pennsylvania was a major connecting path between the Iroquois in the north and the Carolinas in the south? Wrote the article for a red link in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. (DYK #40)
• December 23 2009 - my 35,000th edit, adding an image of the Webster-Donora Bridge to National Register of Historic Places listings in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania (what an awful image - but hey, it was FREE!)

• December 29 2009 - Did You Know ... that the Falls Trail along the 24 named waterfalls (Ganoga Falls pictured) in Ricketts Glen State Park has been called "the most magnificent hike" in Pennsylvania? - a joint effort with Gerry D (this is the nineteenth image I uploaded that has been on the Main Page) (DYK #41)
• December 31 2009 - I discovered that none of the Featured Articles or Featured Lists I am a major contributor to are watched by even 30 editors, see this nifty tool.
