Otto Kotouč (April 25, 1885 – November 20, 1973) was an American banker and politician.

Life and career

Kotouč was born on April 22, 1885, in Humboldt, Nebraska, to Bohemian immigrants Frank and Marie Kotouč (née Hon). Growing up in Humboldt, Kotouč graduated high school in 1903 and attended University of Nebraska–Lincoln, receiving a Bachelor of Arts five years later in 1908.[1]: 981 

Kotouč was elected to the Nebraska House of Representatives in 1908.[1]: 981 

Kotouč married to Camille Cernik on August 29, 1912. Together, they had two children: Otto Jr. and Marie.[1]: 982 [2]

On November 20, 1973, Kotouč died at a hospital in Humboldt after battling an illness.[2]
