The 2019–20 season was the fifth season in the existence of Hereford Football Club and their second consecutive in the National League North, the sixth tier of English football. In addition to the league, the club also competed in the FA Cup and the FA Trophy.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, on 22 April 2020, National League clubs voted to end the season with immediate effect, resulting in Hereford finishing in 16th on a points-per-game basis.[5]
