Sonnet 13.4
The best moments in life come but one time,
Then forced to live only in memories.
A first kiss, a first dance are two that shine,
And weddings and graduations with these.
Afterwards, when all of the joy has passed,
Looking back is the only way to see
How magical are the events that last,
As wonderful as memories can be.
But in that bliss gone, like waves on the lake,
Perhaps sadness is also to be there,
For a magic event comes once, to take,
And another, not in a time to share.
So with memories, hold fast and don't give way,
Unless times should not come another day.
