Note: I’m increasingly inclined to create a new article on the Witwatersrand conurbation (as distinct from the natural feature known as the Witwatersrand, which already has its own article), on the basis of apparent greater use of the term “Witwatersrand” than “Greater Johannesburg” to refer to this area, as well as additional, geographically narrower, meanings that have been applied to the latter term. I’ve already incorporated that change into my proposed titles for a number of the articles below. Once created, it will be linked to from the current Greater Johannesburg page, which I still intend to turn into a clearer disambiguation page.
All the redlinks in this version of Template:Greater Johannesburg are articles I plan on starting. The deliberately coloured links, a slightly different shade of red, are redirects I intend to expand into full articles. See also: my temporary compendium of the various taxa recorded in the Witwatersrand area, which will provide the basis for the various biodiversity-related articles in the below template.
