I'm a new user on Wiki. I was a pharmacy technician for over a decade. The last 3 years I have been the sole caregiver to my husband. He ruptured his appendix and spent close to a week in the hospital with a Levaquin I.V.
Since then he has had multiple surgeries for a ruptured Achilles tendon, rupture of the tendon and ligament in his thumb, and repair on both rotator cuffs. He is currently seeing a neurologist for peripheral neuropathy and a rheumatologist for joint pain.
His physicians at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases believe all his symptoms are stemming from the Levaquin.
