The 2017 CONCACAF Super Cup was a proposed annual football match organised by CONCACAF and contested by the reigning champions of the two main North American club competitions, the CONCACAF Champions League and the CONCACAF SuperLiga. It was the 3rd edition of the CONCACAF Super Cup. The match featured two Mexican clubs, Pachuca, champions of the 2016–17 CONCACAF Champions League, and Guadalajara, champions of the 2016–17 CONCACAF SuperLiga.
Herediano won the previous two editions, but will not defend their titles after losing in the round of 16 of the Champions League to their opponents in the 2016 Super Cup, Toluca.
Pachuca won the Super Cup 4–0 on aggregate.
