Abortive initiation edit

Recent Science article finds in vivo production of prokaryotic abortive RNA transcripts. Says euks have abortive initiation, but refs don't support[1]. But this article on promoter clearance does support it. I'm wrong. [2]

CPDs edit

UVB produces TTs, followed by CTs, least CCs. UVA produces greater preponderance of TTs. See fig 2 [3]

Actually CC and CTs result in more mutations, because of the A rule [4]

Race and Genetics edit

First, there's a Race and genetics article. There's also one on Human genetic variation, and then Lewontin's fallacy is worth a look. Witherspoon has a good review of genetic variation, and explains how most variation can be within populations, but it's still possible to classify people fairly accurately into groups with multiple loci[6].
