editPlz update Imagemap for resized map. ← Alex Great talkrus? 07:45, 22 September 2014 (UTC)
- What do you mean? The map on the infobox template is suppose to be the size it is. This infobox template Template:Infobox Eurovision/Türkvizyon 2014 is smaller because the larger File:Türkvizyon 2014 map.svg map is contained within a specially designed interactive map, that enables visitors to click on a specific country within the map and be directed to that countries Turkvizyon article. - Why you don't understand me? I mean "Update Imagebox function to current updated map where contour of all participated countries must be in its lineborders." ← Alex Great talkrus? 11:55, 24 September 2014 (UTC)
- I beg your pardon!? If you wish for people to understand you, then be more explanatory with your questions to begin with. When you ask someone to "update imagemap for resize map" then it doesn't exactly give much insight into what it is you mean. If you notice, I did reply to you with "what do you mean?" followed by a brief explanation about the map design, just in case you were asking to make the map size bigger for this template. Even the questions in your second comment do not make any sense whatsoever. If you wish for people to understand, then perhaps it would be helpful to make more sense and if in doubt give in-depth detail into what it is you are asking. Wes Mouse 17:29, 24 September 2014 (UTC)
- First you ask to "update imagemap for resized map". Update which image map for which resized map?
- Second you ask to "update imagebox function to current update map where contour of all participated countries must be in its lineborders". Update what imagebox function? What current map with contours? And what contours of participated countries are you on about? And what the hell have lineborders got to do with it? Wes Mouse 17:37, 24 September 2014 (UTC)
- If the map itself is not looking as "updated" as you wish, then perhaps you should try to WP:PURGE if you are unsure with what I mean. Wes Mouse 17:40, 24 September 2014 (UTC) the server cache. Or check

Ok, Wes. Forgot all what I said. You realy don't understand me? Sorry for my English, it's not my native language. But many my foreigner friends understand "what I mean". ← Alex Great talkrus? 06:40, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
- I understand that English is not your native language. So I would suggest that to prevent any language confusion like this in future, that you explain things in more simple terms, even if it means stating what you require in step-by-step format. This will help people to understand better, and to be able to give you a more better reply. So, with that in mind let's start again from the beginning. What is it that you wish to be done, step-by-step. Wes Mouse 16:30, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
- Ok, Wes. Look:
- This template used a map via extension ImageMap
- This extension makes simple images to Interactive.
- When you click in Interactive region on a map (f.e. click on Ukraine), you redirects to article about Ukraine.
- BUT. For this feature needs cordinates on image. I mean, when you click on Ukraine, you click on this region on a map, and this region highlits a borders (ImageMap's countour of a region) of Ukraine.
- This borders generated via cordinates in this Template that used by Extension ImageMap
- And what? When you resize original map of Turkvizyon more cordinates in this template is moved out.
- We needs new cordinates for this template, because when I click at Gagauzia on a map, I'm not redirected at Gagauzia page. Why? Because ImageMap Cordinates of Gagauzia is moved out from the right place.
- We need fix this problem.
- Do you understand me now? ← Alex Great talkrus? 09:03, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you for explaining the issue more simplified, it has made understanding a lot easier. I appreciate that when someone does not have near native understanding of English that it can cause barriers and misunderstandings. However, the fact that you have readdressed the issue in a more simple term has helped to remove that barrier. Now, in regards to the coordinates, yes they do need fixing. However, I do not know how to do this. User:AxG is the technical mastermind behind the interactive map. I shall send him a message and let him know of the problem, and hopefully get the map updating as soon as possible. Wes Mouse 13:35, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
- I also find very disheartening in all of your earlier comments that you imply to me in a rather rude way that I am not understanding you. When someone posts a vague request without elaborating into more detail, then how is one suppose to gain any understanding? We are not psychics and predict what it is that people want. And also the remark But many my foreigner friends understand "what I mean" I find to be somewhat xenophobic towards myself and the fact that "your foreign friends" may understand you, but I do not. I have tried to be helpful and asked politely for you to explain things easier as your questions were vague and not making sense (even for someone who may have tried to guess). Yet you cast ghastly remarks and prejudge my personal character. Please be more careful how you address people in future, especially when it concerns linguistics. And I notice that you say you do not have a native understanding of English, yet on your user page you display {{User en-4}} (native English) in which you say you do have a native understanding. Perhaps reviewing this and changing the level to either {{User en-3}} (advanced English) or {{User en-2}} (intermediate English) would be more appropriate, and plus would point out to other editors that you do not have near-native English and thus they'd be able to talk to you without using complexed words and terminology, so that you'd understand easier. - I edit with near-native level of English. But not a native level. Near! Understand? Ok, thanks for you opinion about this. ← Alex Great talkrus? 07:19, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry to but in, but the imagemap has been fixed. -- [[ axg // ✉ ]] 15:29, 30 September 2014 (UTC)

editHi. I updated a map for full part of Iran. Plz update coordinates of this template. AxG will hate me, perhaps . ← Alex Great talkrus? 09:29, 27 October 2014 (UTC)
- Nonetheless, coordinates of Yakuria still in place. ← Alex Great talkrus? 09:32, 27 October 2014 (UTC)
- Iran is a debut country, it was never in "part" of a country, unlike Iraq, which was agreed to only highlight the Iraqi Turkmens region and not the entire Iraqi nation. Wes Mouse | chat 14:24, 27 October 2014 (UTC)
- I think Alex was talking about part of Iran that was cut off on the old map. -- [[ axg // ✉ ]] 23:02, 27 October 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks AxG, I meant namely it. Wes never understands me. Sorry for my English. ← Alex Great talkrus? 14:38, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
