Edit request from Crwalsh91, 15 October 2010 Vulgarity in the Show

{{edit semi-protected}} The Vulgarity in the show can range from slight sexism, outrageous sexism, racism and all out rude comments. All of the rude comments made by Daniel are targeted at women, black people or anyone who isn't white, German or people that don't look like Daniel. Not to say that these comment are not funny, they are. In fact, they are hilarious. However, many women would probably hate the show due to his comments. Also in the show, Daniel shows videos and says comments that are VERY inappropriate for children due to their extreme sexual content. One video in particular show Daniel have some of his male friends shove $1500 worth of bills up his butt. If you are of age to watch the show and are in the right mood and have a sense of humor, you will die laughing at the show. Crwalsh91 (talk) 22:03, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

Lisa Baxt, senior communications manager for Nikon Inc says “Ashton is the perfect choice for this campaign as he embodies both the stylish and fun attributes of Nikon’s COOLPIX Style series cameras." Kutcher has been a huge success advertising the Nikon cameras, as his photogenic face and modeling history made this journey a fun one! Kutcher says, "am thrilled to work with Nikon on this campaign. I think technology today represents so much more than just function – it represents personal style and sophistication. I’m enjoying the opportunity to work with such a well respected brand and a group of highly creative individuals on a campaign that showcases the style, design and simplicity of the new COOLPIX cameras.”

Please remove Belgium from the list of countries where Compulsory voting is not enforced. It is the first country mentioned in the list.

Compulsory voting is enforced in Belgium. The cited source was an article written in Flemish, saying that voters do not get sanctioned anymore when they don't vote, implying that they do not risk anything by not voting. This does not imply that voting is not compulsory anymore, it just implies that the system of sanction is not imposed as strictly as it used to. Belgium is actually holds the oldest system of compulsory voting, and it has not changed.

It is clearly stated in the official website for elections that voting is mandatory. (http://www.elections.fgov.be/index.php?id=1664&L=0)

Regarding the victor ortiz Floyd mayweather fight. The ending of the fight posted is false. I watched the fight, DVR'd it, reviewed it countless times. After the headbutt ortiz hugged mayweather, then returned to his corner. Joe cortex was talking between ortiz and the judges, he DID NOT call time in. Floyd approached victors corner at this point offering a hug to victor with arms held low. Victor embraced Floyd, who still with arms low barely made contact, then. Slowly stepped back and hit victor with a left hook, victor held his arms to the side and looked to the ref who just stared in astonishment. Then Floyd hit him with a right hook and ortiz went down, the ref stared at floyd momentarily with his jaw wide open, and finally ran to ortiz, stared at him momentarily as if he didn't know what to do. So, he decided to start the 10 count. That's how it happened. My references are as such: ask anyone who payed attention to the fight, or watch it yourselves. This was a travesty to the sport of boxing, I take no sides, as I believe both fighters and the ref should be suspended.

Edit request from 81.23.51.26, 22 September 2011

The point about Ortiz having knocked down every opponent he has faced (prior to Mayweather) needs to be removed as it has been proven to be false:

i) In his 2nd pro fight against Alejandro Nungaray Ortiz won a 4 round decision, all 3 scorecards reading 40-36 (i.e. all 4 rounds scored 10-9 to Ortiz). It’s mathematically impossible for there to have been a knockdown in that fight and the scorecards to read like that

ii) In his 18th pro fight he fought to a 1st round technical draw against Marvin Cordova, when Ortiz was cut by an accidental headbutt. Although Ortiz had been winning the round no knockdowns had been scored when the fight was stopped.

iii) In his 26th pro fight he scored a 2nd round TKO victory over Mike Arnoutis. The fight was stopped when the referee stepped in but Arnoutis was never actually knocked down at any time in the fight.

This has been researched by Gordon Marino who covers boxing for the Wall Street Journal and is discussed in an article first published on ringtv.com:

http://ringtv.craveonline.com/blog/169062-win-or-lose-or-draw-ortiz-is-known-for-scoring-knockdowns-in-his-fights

And also in another article here:

http://ringtv.craveonline.com/blog/168918-weekend-review-bertos-comeback-victory

The scorecard totals for the Nungaray fight are also clearly noted on his Boxrec record page.

In any instance, the article by Bert Sugar which is used as a reference for this statement in the first place does not provide any proof to back up the claim. It merely states that this is what he believes to be true without providing evidence for the claim.

Because

Historically the name "Rama's Bridge (ca 1747) precedes the name "Adam's Bridge" (ca 1804) as per cartographers. Also the search result for "Adam's Bridge" should point to "Rama's Bridge" and not vice versa like it is now for the same reason. "Rama's Bridge" is also a religious belief of Hindus (several references are made in the Hindu religious texts of "Ramayana" the date of which predates the cartographer dates by many centuries). What is widely known must not be made trivial.

It is mentioned in Mahatma Gandhi's page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahatma_Gandhi) that he belongs to a Bania Aggarwal family. That means he was from one of the 19.5 Gotras of aggarwal samaj but he was not...

He belongs to Vysya caste & was inspired by ethics of Jainism. On his origin people from his gotra have mentioned many time that "Vysyas are pride to say that Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi was also belongs to Vysya who released Indians from Britishers, Amarajeevi. Sri.Potti. SriRamulu who struggled a lot for the formation of AP is also belonged to Vysyas"

Rohit sharma scored 177 in the first innings..not second!

Rohit Sharma scored a total of 177 runs in his debut match in the "first innings". But here it has been mentioned that he scored it in the "Second innings". Kindly correct it! And I hope a mistake like this doesn't occur again. 117.212.106.79 (talk) 07:36, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
