- Comment: I have created this article about a British colonial administrator. It was the only red link in the list at Chief Secretary for Administration (number 2 person in Hong Kong's administration). The details in the article and the links to historical records give a sense of what an colonial administrator's career looked like at the turn of the 20th century.

This article is new enough and long enough. The hook is cited to three sources which are all online but not easy to check so I have accepted the hook facts in good faith.
