Wang Ruofei edit

  • Reviewed: not a self-nom

  • The article itself is fine, new enough, long enough, well-sourced, yadda, yadda, yadda (I'm a little concerned about the image in the article though. Its description states that its copyright status is unknown). The hook, on the other hand, doesn't strike me as that interesting. Can you think of anything more interesting?
  • @Carabinieri: the image is public domain (taken in 1940, copyright expired), only its author is unknown. As for the hook, four major rebel leaders dying in a single plane crash is extremely unusual and interesting to me. How about:
ALT1: ... that Chinese Communist leader Wang Ruofei died in a 1946 plane crash when returning from negotiations with the Nationalist government in Chongqing?

  • Ok, you're right, it's more interesting than most DYK hooks. I actually prefer the original suggestion. Thanks for explaining the situation concerning the image.--Carabinieri (talk) 09:55, 1 October 2014 (UTC)
