Article is currently at afd for notability issues. Half of the article is not about the subject, who only appears in one source (which does at least confirm the essence of the hook). The idea that he was 'helped' by the shark seems like a strong claim as well. The apparently random actions of the shark drew his attention towards a boat that was already on its way to rescue him. On top of this, the article is also too short as it stands, least 1500 characters are needed, at present it has just 956 characters.
