If we can reasonably say that QV would have attended the banquet, otherwise the Lord Mayor. Mock turtle soup because it is something people will want to click on. Philafrenzy (talk) 21:19, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

  • New enough, long enough, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. Image is pd. QPQ done. ALT1 is definitely meatier, but the source has no mention of Queen Victoria, so it should be just the Lord Mayor. I don't see anything in the source about a Royal Warrant from the Queen, just that he was the "official importer". There is also a "why?" tag in the second paragraph under Importing turtles that needs to be taken care of before this passes. Yoninah (talk) 14:29, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
QV may have been there but don't have time to research it. Go with Lord Mayor. Fixed the "Why" from the source and changed royal warrant to supplier. Good to go? Philafrenzy (talk) 21:10, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
  • Everything checks out now. Hook ref verified and cited inline. ALT2 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 18:45, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
