Soviet frigate Zadornyy

  • ... that the Soviet frigate Zadornyy was named after the Russian word for "provocative"? Source: "Zadornyy (Russian: Задорный, "Provocative")"

Improved to Good Article status by Simongraham (talk). Nominated by EpicPupper (talk) at 18:05, 22 April 2021 (UTC).

  • Nominated on the day it received its GA star. The article has inline citations to reliable sources; AGF on offline sources. QPQ not needed as this is a first nomination. Hook is short enough, and interesting. But the article says that the name means proactive, not provocative. Either the hook or the article is wrong. Simongraham or EpicPupper, this will need to be resolved before the hook can run. MeegsC (talk) 12:12, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
  • @MeegsC: Thank you for spotting that typo. The error is now corrected. simongraham (talk) 21:34, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
