Siderastrea siderea, Siderastrea radians edit

Created/expanded by Cwmhiraeth (talk). Self nom at 09:04, 14 July 2012 (UTC)

  • New and 2250B prose
  • I detect no copyvio
  • Sources are cited inline and seem reputable
  • Neutral
  • If a dome or a boulder is synonymous with a mound, this part of the hook is verified
  • AGF on one offline source
  • General and hook:
  • QPQ satisfied
  • Hook is brief, seems interesting enough
  • No image
  • My only comment is that you may want to reference the two common names in siderea, even though they are easy to find amongst the references. Will review radians later. Chris857 (talk) 02:41, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
  • One thing I missed in siderea, what is the ref for "It can be encrusting when young."? It is not covered in the Interactive Guide ref. Chris857 (talk) 02:44, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

_________

  • New article, 2855B prose
  • Neutral, cited inline
  • AGF on one offline source
  • Issues
  • Check refs in #Description for sentences 1, 3, and 4. I cannot verify those in the refs provided
  • Check refs in #Biology for paragraph 1, I cannot verify in the ref provided
Chris857 (talk) 02:58, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
  • I have added the extra references. In siderea, the reference at the end of description originally applied to the whole paragraph. Later I found a new source and wanted to add information in the middle of the description section and reference it. This confuses the original reference.
  • In radians, the WoRMS source stated that the coral was "zooxanthellate". I expanded that by explaining what the term meant but the rest of the paragraph provided general information about corals and I did not consider it needed further referencing. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:55, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
Alright, I am satisfied by the additions, and pass both articles and the hook. Chris857 (talk) 23:54, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
