- Apparently the appointment is subject to confirmation. I think it's just a formality, but probably best to wait for that before this goes onto DYK. - Be careful to read the whole story, my friend! ;) There are still formalities to go through (though if she wasn't appointed at the end of it all, that would be notable in itself) like a grilling from a select committee.
