  • Hook: Short enough, interesting (name is, quite frankly, ridiculous on its own). Image has issues, no source, no copyright information, etc. Can't use it.
Article: New enough, long enough, interesting. AGF on foreign-language references. Image has issues.
Please fix the image or find a different one. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 03:58, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
Ok, sorry, this is the second term I've been pulled up recently on AGFing images; have added to the Commons page confirmation of the GNU Free Documentation License as asserted by Radio France International here; thanks, Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 05:13, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
  • This was uploaded in 2006, that RFI link is from 2010. They may have copied from Wikipedia and used the possibly incorrect license. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 05:28, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
Yes, that thought had crossed my mind - and trying to track a good source for this one I came across a couple of commercial ventures that are hiding behind "image from wikipedia"; however the RFI page suggests it's a major outfit and that it operates and is paid for by the French Minister of Foreign Affairs; I think if they are their lawyers are happy to sign-off on the image that should suffice for us, Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 07:23, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
  • The page has "Hindemith-Institut als Rechteinhaber " - Assuming that this is a source, perhaps that institution would have a web page. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 11:04, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
I tried looking there, but could only find a really low resolution version with no copyright notice; I guess if RFI's word's not good enough for the front page we can always scrap the image; it looks like it appears on the cover of a new book, but the amazon and google books pages don't cover the acknowledgement for this; I guess a trip to a big library might resolve the issue, but could also be inconclusive, because it's a >70 yrs image and, if anonymous, isn't the issue when first published? • (watching) if you ask me, have it quirky without a pic,
